Paulie (Edward Burns) starts freaking out at the thought that he's soon becoming a groom and a father.

is looking forward to a week of hanging out with his four groomsmen before he marries his pregnant fiancee Sue (Brittany Murphy). But the prospect of fatherhood and responsibility is daunting. Each of Paulie's groomsmen is also dealing with individual issues brought on by the coming wedding. Paulie's brother Jimbo (Donal Logue) has hit a rough patch in his marriage. Cousin Mike (Jay Mohr) is obsessed with an ex-girlfriend, while his old friend TC (John Leguizamo) returns to town with mixed reaction after an 8 year absence. Dez (Matthew Lillard), the only married father among the bunch, wants to relive his glory days by getting their high school band back together.
