The Dodge Charger, one of the biggest names from the muscle car era, has powered its way back to streets across America, paying homage to the muscle cars of the 1960s, and adding 21st century performance and functionality.

The 2006 Dodge Charger is a 4-door, 5-passenger sports sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the Base to the RT. Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 250-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The RT is equipped with a standard 5.7-liter, V8, 340-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2006 Dodge Charger is all-new for 2006.
