Dave Douglas (Tim Allen) is at a parent/teacher meeting with his wife and assures the teacher that nothing is more important than his son. Suddenly, he spies a cat in a tree outside the school window, runs off and gives chase, finally knocking into a tree an old woman with a stroller.
