China's powerful Tang Dynasty is falling into disarray in the year 859 A.D., thanks mainly to a band of thieves who steal from the rich and give to the poor.

Ordered to bring the rogue band of Robin Hoods to justice, two police detectives hatch a scheme to trick a beautiful female dancer into luring them to the thieves' hideout deep in the forest. But when one of the cops falls in love with his pretty suspect, their star-crossed romance may have far reaching complications.
