The Bellator Summer Series 2012 came to an end August 24 with a tournament championship double header. Attila Vegh needed less than half a minute to knockout Travis Wiuff and secure the Light Heavyweight Tournament Championship. In a battle of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts, Marcos Galvao stopped Luis Nogueira with a barrage of elbows in the second round to claim the Season 6 Bantamweight Tournament Championship. A pair of unbeaten light heavyweights met and Mike Mucitelli hung onto his perfect record with a first round submission win over Matt Van Buren.
