Rush to War - Wake Up and Smell the Oil

Posted on: October 28, 2004 | Views: 8 | Comment

Are democracy and liberation the real rationale or is it just the oil the U.S. looks for?

Since Sept. 11, 2001, many citizens have watched in horror as our troops have died overseas, prisoners have been tortured in our name and our civil liberties have been violated. Filmmaker Robert Taicher's assembled news footage and interviews with journalists, Middle East experts and military men shows a president determined to subjugate our freedoms for our lusts: an unquenchable thirst for oil, imperialistic tendencies and a need for security and comfort at all costs. Some of the assembled: Ambassador Joseph Wilson, Noam Chomsky, Father Daniel Berrigan, Molly Ivins, George S. McGovern, General Anthony Zinni and many more.
