Forsaking a family vacation in tropical Indonesia, the filmmaker decides to endure a marathon series of 17 airline flights across four continents - all in the name of justice. Summonsed to appear as a witness in the criminal courts in Berlin, Germany, he hopes to resolve unfinished business, but first he has to spend several grueling days in the "International Republic of Airplanes and Airports," where everything looks, sounds and tastes the same, no matter what country you are in.
