Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Season One, Vol.1 - Rescuing Dancing Girls

Why should a show about a submarine limit itself to the ocean? Red Buttons shows up in a north African bazaar sound stage to rescue a leggy ersatz dancing girl from Peter Lorre and a bunch of fez-sporting Keystone Cops, Hollywood-Arabic style. I guess this ad for coming episodes of the show demonstrates why viewers and critics thought that the first season was definitely the best.
Welcome aboard the Seaview, the most extraordinary submarine in all the Seven Seas! From the outside the ship appears to be a high-tech research vessel, but it's actually the mightiest weapon in the Cold War arsenal of the U.S., sent on perilous top-secret missions to battle the enemies of mankind.
