This clip is from a 1987 short film was directed by Stanislav Sokolov and is about the struggle of power between darkness and light in a world of dreams. The film is based on two Hans Christian Andersen stories, The Marsh King's Daughter and Hill of the Elves - both written by the famous Danish children's author to convey social, moral, and philosophical messages to a mature audience.
