Red Bull Air Race World Series - Rock of Cashel - Winning Lap
Two-times World Aerobatics Champion Peter Besenyei of Hungary takes the trophy at Cashel, Ireland, with some dipsy-doodle around tight pylons.
A cross between a ski slalom, the fastest motor sport in the world, and plane aerobatics, the Red Bull Air Race was conceived in 2001 by the Red Bull think-tank and Peter Besenyei. The race debuted in 2003 at AirPower in Zeltweg, Austria. Peter is seen winning the race in Ireland in 2004 in the above clip.
