Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Interview with director Garth Jennings

Posted on: April 22, 2005 | Views: 102 | Comment

Garth Jennings talked about how he tried to stay true to the spirit of the original radio series and book.

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move." -- Guide

The beloved Guide will finally be brought to cineplexes for those galactic inhabitants who don't read. Arthur Dent discovers that losing his home by eminent domain to make room for a freeway isn't his biggest problem: Earth itself's about to be demolished to make room for a galactic freeway. With the help of a friend in the know, Arthur stows away on a spaceship just in time to watch Earth bust up. Thus begins his adventure.
