The goal of VOW is to inspire veterans to make the same commitment to their health and wellness that they made to their country. Veterans are susceptible to long term health risks after returning from service and the benefits of physical fitness and community activities have been shown to improve not only their physical and mental health but their sense of purpose. We also hope to inspire civilians to connect with veterans through these events and activities. It’s an amazing chance to bond with vets and help them feel part of the communities they proudly served.
So we’re challenging veterans and non-veterans alike to make a VOW to get active and get connected. What’s your VOW?
