Jasmine Rodriguez

Host

Jasmine was born and raised in Yonkers and for the past 16 years has been earning a living tattooing in the Bronx. She realized at a very young age she wanted to become a tattoo artist. At 15, she begged the owner of Champion Tattoo for a job. He said no, but she didn’t give up. Every day for months she returned and asked for a job. Eventually she was hired as the shop runner, and eventually apprenticed with the owner. Despite tattooing being a predominately male industry, Jasmine was undeterred and slowly built her reputation as one of the top artist at the shop. This rising star prides herself in her artistic versatility and the ability to ink a complex tattoo in a short period of time. She’s known for her neo-traditional art and her elaborate script writing.
