Lawrence of Arabia

Lawrence of Arabia is considered by many to be the original Special Forces operative, doing during WWI what Green Berets are doing today. Charging through the desert on camelback, he single-handedly united the warring Arab tribes against the Turks in less than a year. He used guerilla operations against an unsuspecting Ottoman Empire that eventually led to the fall of Damascus.
