Maiquel Falcao made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2004. The dangerous Brazilian possesses a strong submission game, but like many of his Chute Box training partners is dominantly a standup fighter. "Big Rig" has compiled more than 20 knockouts in his fighting career.
Falcao is currently undefeated in Bellator and is the Season Six Middleweight Tournament Champion. He holds Bellator wins over Norman Paraisy, Vyacheslav Vasilevsky and Andreas Spang, and showed a mix of solid striking and ground skills in his tournament run. Falcao is slated to fight fellow tournament winner Alexander Shlemenko for the vacant middleweight title.
Record: 31-4 (23 KOs, 3 subs)
