Pat Curran

Pat Curran made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2008, earning his stripes on the local Midwest scene. After just two years of competition, he was invited to enter a 155-pound Bellator tournament in April 2010. He shut down UFC veteran and heavy tournament favorite Roger Huerta en route to winning the Season 2 Lightweight Tournament. After falling short in his title shot against Eddie Alvarez, he moved to the featherweight division.

Down at 145 pounds, Curran won the inaugural Summer Series tournament. Curran became the first and only fighter in Bellator history to win two tournaments in separate weight classes. He fights for the featherweight title March 9th against Joe Warren at Bellator 60.
