In the vein of "Animal House," "Blue Mountain State" follows three incoming freshman in a big-time, Midwestern college football program. Alex is a talented quarterback, content to ride the bench while partying with his best friend Sammy, who aspires to be the school's mascot. Craig, on the other hand, is a number one recruit and future Pro whose life is already mapped out for him by his controlling girlfriend. Will they be able to juggle football, girls, class and nonstop hazing?

    The show has a nice mix of freshman initiation sex and hazing, has the lovable golden shower loving cougar lady, has the seasonal cookie race, the required alcohol, drugs, and sex, did I mention sex. And the male main characters are fitting. But, on the female side there is room for improvement, other than the cougar and Denise Rays character (which would be nice if she was physically hurt ever once in a while), the other ladies need to have deeper roles and be more varied, both in character and physically. Bascially there needs to be a nerdy girl, and a smart sharp witted, but nonchalant about sex ex-girl friend of Alex and Sammy's character. Who is still their friend with benefits but just friends. But, the main thing is that these other girls need large breasts, all the other girls just have mediocre breasts, but not the large breasts that will keep our attention and keep us coming back week after week. Some other Texas friends and I mentioned this in our critiques about the shows preview and we wanted to re-state it one more time. But, otherwise nice concept. Thanks Spike.

    okay great premise. Let's promote sex and sex and alcohol and drugs for all the kids. Isn't college great! This show belongs on a premium channel, not on a channel available to anyone. I find this disgusting.
