I've been a fan of Unsolved Mysteries for a long, long time. I have most of the old episodes on tape and watch them all the time. I never get sick of this show. I can't wait until I watch the "new" Unsolved Mysteries" this fall. Thank you Spike TV!!

Thank you for the return of this classic program! Unsolved Mysteries is what great television is all about! I know the series will be updated and given a modern look, but please, please, PLEASE stay with the same format that made the original series so effective and frightening. And for god's sake, whatever you do, don't get rid of the original theme song! Do these things, and I'll watch every episode, every week. Thank you!

I am also a huge unsolved mysteries fan. One of the only shows I used to regularly watch. Now I'm excited to have that opportunity again. That said, I'm with this last guy. You have to keep the same format and you MUST keep the same theme song. These two things are paramount.

Hot damn, I can't wait. So many shows try to do what this one did, but there's only one Unsolved Mysteries. Lessens the pain of losing Battlestar Galactica

Ok seen two episodes so far and this sucks. I grew up watching the original and SPIKE you have ruined it! Dennis Farina is a horrible host! The stories are not new and have been on various other shows on tv. Also 90% of the ones shown have been solved. It's called UNSOLVED mysteries. You are showing things that have been solved for years. Also Elvis?! I mean hasnt his story been told enough as well as Kurt Cobain. Get some NEW mysteries that havent been told and maybe it has a chance but so far it is really bad.

I thought it was great that Unsolved Mysteries was being brought back.but after watching it I realized all you guys did was add a new intro a new host an thats it!Same footage from back in the early 90s!Bunch of crap!Seriously guys come on.You could make this show great again, keep showing the same crap,an the show is going back in the grave! Also since you guys are bringing old shows back, why not bring back Sightings?Revamp that show, people are craving this stuff, shows like destination Truth,Ghost hunters, paranormal state,Most haunted, etc! But please do something with Unsolved mysteries,oh yeah I agree with whomever said to put the original intro music back on.

I've watched a few of the new Unsolved Mysteries episodes on SpikeTV and unfortunately I'm disappointed with the direction the show has taken. The show has lost much of its eerie and serious tone and now seems more 'modernized' with fancy camera cuts and even some rock-based music. I even noticed some traces of subliminal images, most noticeably in the Kurt Cobain episode, I believe I saw images of Courtney Love flash on the screen when it was mentioned who might of killed him. Not totally sure of this but it was definitely someone.

Leading back to the 'loss' of the overall dark and serious tone of the series, the show just isn't the same with Robert Stack narrating, and just the overall changes of the show and theme music really took away any feeling of the original show.

Lastly, the lack of any new stories as of yet is disappointing. If you are going to modernize and change the show completely, having all the same old stories just doesn't work,. I can understand trying to solve some old cases but cases that have gone unsolved for 10, and many approaching 20 years or longer, will tend to remain unsolved forever.

While I'm not saying not to air any old cases, if you are going to revive the show it's important you present many new unsolved cases that have a good chance of being solved should it be aired.

Just my two cents on the show now. I've loved Unsolved Mysteries since I was a kid and I'm excited to see it revived here, so hopefully future episodes have some new content!

My concern when the show was originally announced as going to SpikeTV is being borne out in the nature of the programming. Whereas once, Unsolved Mysteries was the (still IS the, in the classical sense) absolute pinnacle of programming concerning the unexplained, i.e. the events that really cause one to pause and think, now it is being saturated by, basically, a frivolous, sensationalistic "infotainment" feel, one that does a tremendous disservice to the nature of the show and what it once portended to. The theme song, replete as it was with the haunting phrygian mode rhythm and sound effects, has now been replaced with something that has nothing of the old sense of wonder-yet-dread.

To put it bluntly, UM, and its viewing constituency, might be too freakin' INTELLIGENT to be broadcast on a station like Spike. Maybe that sounds arrogant, but go back and check out the old feel it had: this was a show that could unsettle anyone, at any time. And that...was a glorious thing.

I am a fan of the show and I was just watching the episode about an armored car company robbery, there was a mention about how heavy money is and on the screen it was stated that 100,000 dollars in 100 dollar bills = 220lbs. Which if you do the math each 100 dollar bill would weigh .22 of a pound or almost a quarter of a pound each. I'm thinking they missed a zero or two some where.

Looking forward to Unsolved Mysteries possibly doing a show on the Johnny Gosch kidnapping. This case involves government corruption at its worst. I hope Spike TV has the guts to take on this infamous child kidnapping case and solve it once and for all. Yes, it happened in 1982 which was a long time ago. But it is never too late for justice to be served. Check out www.justiceforjohnnygosch.com

I've watch a couple episodes and it's clear that they've ruined the show. The host sucks and nobody's takes a chicago accent seriously. And what's up with that retarted background music? They don't have respect for their audience as most viewers don't have ADHD and you can stay interested without the high tempo music and stupid sound effects and graphics.

It sucks! It seems the show, all be it, a new look and host. But look, all the stories are from years ago from the original series. Are they stuck in some time warp?! Are there new mysteries that need to be solved? Are there new ghost stories. I guess not. Let's see how long this version of a cult classic will last. I think I can say viewers want new mysteries!!!

I love that you are airing Unsolved Mysteries....I agree not having Robert Stack is quite a shock, but I think Dennis if doing a good job. I am surprised to see how many cases have been solved since the first airings. I wish someone would start a new Unsolved Mysteries with new stories and some of the old, yet unsolved stories too. I would love to be able to produce it!! It has been a dream of mine. But please do not stop airing this show.

I want to contact Unsolved Mysteries about the unsoved murder of a 21 year old clean cut college student from Illinois doing an internship at a game ranch in Texas. A lot of people in Texas and Illinois are already interested in this case as the local Justice of the Peace tried to cover up that a murder even took place until the student's father paid $3000 out of his own pocket for an autopsy that proved he had been shot twice in the head. The student had called 911 FIVE times for assistance while he was being ran off the road and then shot yet no one responded. This story of the murder of John-Michael Dilday has far too much mystery, lack of concern about a murder in a state famous for being concerned about murder, public outrage, and the always hot topic of illegal immigration as the last 3 people to see him alive were all illegal immigrants working at the game ranch where he was doing the internship. Police reports have been falsified and are inconstistent saying in one report that he was found dead at the vehicle seen and saying in the next that he had returned three miles to the place he was staying and was found dead there. I am sure you get a lot of request but please, please look into this as a lot of people want answers and a lot more would find this story very interesting. Thank you.

To me, the whole reason the original show was scary was because of Robert Stack's eerie voice, and I mean that in a good way, but now with Dennis Farina, who sucks as an atoras it is, has to ruin the show because they don't even have new cases. I mean what's the whole point of bringing a show back with gay intros and voice overs?

The original show was awesome and I never missed an episode. Dennis Farina is doing a fine job with a great show. No one alive will ever measure up to Robert Stack but he only read from a script for this show. No matter, Dennis Farina is doing a great job and I still love the show and would watch it all the time if Direct TV had not dropped it from our listings. Please, please bring it back on!! This is one of my top three favorite TV shows of all time. It is just as great but with a different cast!! Please do not stop airing this show. It is interesting to know what happened with a lot of the old cases and with time some new cases will surely be aired. Dennis Farina - You are doing great!!!

Make them air this show to a broader market!!! Maybe in a better time slot. There were lots of people that watched it before when it was in a diffferent time slot. Just please fix it and bring it back!!
