Like the pretty-boy fighting movies before it, the first trailer for the new "models only" Fight Club-esque movie is here, titled Fighting. Writer/director Dito Montiel tells the story of an underdog (played by Channing Tatum) who works on the streets of New York by day and is recruited to fight in boxing clubs at night. Howard Terrence plays the recruiter, who recognizes Tatum's raw fighting talent. Check it out after the jump.

Director Kathryn Bigelow's new film, The Hurt Locker, follows an Army bomb squad as it tries to survive the treacherous landscape that is Iraq. The trailer is fast, violent and hard-hitting, and if nothing else the movie looks like it won't let you catch your breath long enough to even think about getting bored. Bigelow also directed the awesome Keanu Reeves-Patrick Swayze action film Point Break, so we know she can deliver. Check it out after the jump.

It seems director McG, who helmed this summer's blockbuster Terminator Salvation, has become a hot commodity. He's now set up to direct -- not a remake -- the origin story of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The film is titled: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo, and Disney is putting up the cash. In it we will see how Captain Nemo goes about constructing his famous vessel, the Nautilus.

A new trailer for Watchmen has hit the web, and this one is targeted at Japanese audiences. Footage that hasn't been seen yet of the film is in abundance here: we get lots of Nixon and his cabinet brooding about important Cold War stuff; we get bits of the Kennedy assassination right before it happens; we even get Fidel Castro and his communist revolution in Cuba. In this scene from Righteous Kill, we see the two detectives played by Al Pacino and Robert De Niro have a confrontation with "Spider", played by 50 Cent. He and his henchman have a shoot out with the NYPD, and things don't go down well for Spider's side. There are a lot of sequels that should have been made but probably never will, due to the slings and arrows of outrageous(ly bad) fortune. This isn’t to say that there’s no hope whatsoever of these movies being made, only that as of right now the odds are better that a velociraptor will bite you in the ass. But that doesn't stop us from dreaming.
