Mother Climax started in late July 2007 when Eric Xodik(guitar) and Tresdog (drums) decided to escape from an evil religious cult they originally thought was a band. They were scheduled to engage in ritual baby-sacrifice but they both made up some phony excuse at the last minute and flaked. They hid their music gear in a secret fortress up in the hills.
