Michael Wolfe is Vice President, Consumer Marketing for Spike TV. Wolfe is responsible for conceiving, developing, strategizing, managing, and executing all consumer and trade-based marketing and promotions to build the overall Spike brand across all platforms, drive viewership of its properties, and support growth in web and social media traffic and usage.
Wolfe has previously worked in brand marketing in the consumer packaged-goods industry, as well as both client and agency side positions in the video games industry. Most recently at g-NET Media, Wolfe led brand strategy and business development efforts with the agency’s video game clients, helping to build strategic marketing and communication plans for specific game launches. Among the key clients included Microsoft, Sony Playstation, ElectronicArts, Epic Games, and Ubisoft. Prior to g-NET, he worked at Rockstar Games, leading global marketing for the launch of the critical and commercial hit game, “Red Dead Redemption.”
Wolfe’s additional experience includes serving as Senior Brand Manager for Ubisoft, where he managed the marketing for video game franchises including “Brothers In Arms,” “Rayman Raving Rabbids,” and “CSI.” Prior to that, Wolfe was the Associate Brand Manager for The Clorox Company, where he led marketing initiatives for the Clorox and Glad brands.
Wolfe holds an M.B.A from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, an M.S. in Management of Information Systems from George Washington University in D.C., and a B.S. degree in business from High Point University in N.C.
