SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Bellator MMA will present a landmark event in American combat sports history on September 19 from the SAP Center in San Jose, which will air live on Spike. An event so big it will include two fields of battle – a Bellator cage and a Glory kickboxing ring.

“I’m so proud and honored to bring this truly amazing event to my hometown of San Jose,” said Scott Coker, President of Bellator MMA. “This mega-card will feature something for every combat sports fan- MMA legends, rising stars, a stacked tournament, plus many of the world’s best kickboxers. It will be an unforgettable night for the thousands in attendance and the millions watching at home.”

In the main event, MMA legend Tito Ortiz (18-11) will take on Bellator’s reigning light heavyweight king, Liam McGeary (10-0). This will mark McGeary’s first defense of his coveted title.

The epic evening will also showcase a four-man, one-night light heavyweight tournament to determine the No. 1 contender in the division. The participants include the return ofMuhammed “King Mo” Lawal (15-4, 1 NC), former champion Emanuel Newton (25-8-1), the always dangerous Linton Vassell (15-4-1) and Phil Davis (13-3), who makes his highly anticipated Bellator Debut.

First round pairings for the tournament, as well as further details on the tournament format will be announced shortly.

The event will also feature Glory Kickboxing bouts that will feature many of the best fighters in the world. Namely, Bellator MMA competitors Joe Schilling and Paul “Semtex” Daley. Opponents for Schilling and Daley, as well as additional kickboxing matchups will be announced shortly.

Tickets for “Bellator MMA: Dynamite” will go on sale Friday, June 26 with an exclusive presale taking place on Thursday, June 25th. With the announcement of “Bellator MMA: Dynamite!!!,” Coker is making his triumphant return to Northern California, a region where he pioneered the sport of mixed martial arts as owner of Strikeforce.

Henson and Terrence Howard, Justin Bieber, Alison Brie, Iggy Azalea, Will Arnett, and more.

“Lip Sync Battle” has been a ratings champion for Spike since launch on April 2, delivering record viewership for the network. Over 9 weeks with new episodes, “Lip Sync Battle” is ranked #1 in its timeslot in all of cable TV with Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49 and among all cable entertainment series with Men 18-49. The original series averaged 3 million viewers and has improved the network’s timeslot with the key demographic of Adults 18-49 by 161%.

 

“Lip Sync Battle” also delivered a staggering 177 million cross-platform streams across Spike’s owned and operated properties as well as Facebook and YouTube, with Anne Hathaway’s “wrecking ball” clip alone garnering 15 million.

 

Also this summer, in an effort to unearth the lip sync superstars from the general public, Dr Pepper and Spike have created the fun consumer promotion, #OneofaKindLipSync. The best performances from “Lip Sync Battle” fans uploaded via social media will be showcased in new episodes each week on Spike. The promotion kicks off on June 23 in New York City’s Times Square (44th/43rd Street Pedestrian Plaza). At the end of the season, one of the #OneofaKindLipSync weekly champions will receive an all-expense VIP trip to a Season 2 taping of “Lip Sync Battle.” No purchase is necessary.  Must be a US resident 21 or older to enter.

“CATCH A CONTRACTOR”

New York, NY, June 17, 2015 – True Value, one of the world’s largest, retailer-owned hardware cooperatives, is the official hardware partner for Spike TV’s popular original series “Catch A Contractor,” which follows host and master carpenter Adam Carolla along with expert contractor Skip Bedell and investigator Alison Bedell as they set out to seek justice for families left in dire living circumstances by shady contractors.

“Catch A Contractor” premieres its third season on Sunday, June 21 at 10PM ET/PT on Spike TV.  The series aims to finally turn the tables on shady contractors and educate homeowners on the warning signs before it’s too late.  Adam, Skip and Alison seek retribution for duped homeowners, whose construction nightmares range from the absurdly inept, to alarmingly hazardous homes that are accidents waiting to happen.  They hunt down and confront unscrupulous builders, drag them back to their construction disasters, and make them finish the job right.  Carolla and his expert team share their knowledge and ingenuity with the builders – not only in an effort to deliver homeowners the job they paid for, but also to give these suspect contractors the opportunity to redeem themselves.

True Value products and retailer experts will be featured in both in-show visual integrations and a special vignette hosted by Skip Bedell.  The vignette will feature Skip sharing home improvement and DIY tips.  Over the course of the 10 episode season, True Value will provide tools, materials and expert advice that will aid Adam and Skip as they work to correct the botched jobs left behind by crooked contractors, whether it’s rescuing peeling stucco, retiling a bathroom, or repairing poor paint jobs and loose floorboards.  True Value will be relied upon throughout the season, as “Behind Every Project is a True Value.”

New York, NY, June 10, 2015 – Spike’s wildly popular breakout hit series, “Lip Sync Battle” is going LIVE in New York City on Monday, July 13, as part of the City Parks Foundation’s SummerStage festival.

LL COOL J, a proud native New Yorker will host the LIVE event and New York City resident Chrissy Teigen will provide the color commentary.

“Lip Sync Battle was born and raised in New York City,” said Casey Patterson, Executive Producer.  “We’re honored to be doing our first-ever LIVE show from New York in Central Park. The event will be free for our amazing fans. Central Park is a magical setting with an incredible music legacy, and we can’t wait to rock it!”

Based on the pop culture phenomenon of lip sync battling, the Spike original series features celebrities going head to head – lip-syncing the song of their choice – battling for the coolest bragging rights on the planet.  The series is a ratings and multiplatform superstar for Spike and is the most-watched original series in network history, averaging 3 million viewers.

The competitors for Spike’s first-ever outdoor “Lip Sync Battle” will be announced shortly. The event will be produced by Casey Patterson Entertainment and held rain or shine (gates open at 7:00 p.m.) at the SummerStage venue in mid-Central Park (Fifth Avenue at 69th Street). The event will not be televised and is free to fans.

“Lip Sync Battle” airs on Spike on Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT.
