Shane Satterfield is Vice President, Content, for Spike Digital Entertainment. Satterfield is based in Santa Monica, Calfornia.
Satterfield oversees GameTrailers' editorial and is also responsible for conceiving, creating and acquiring editorial content for Spike.com. He coordinates content distribution with Viacom's various brands and global partners, working hand-in-hand with sales and marketing to create meaningful content for sponsors and partners.
In 2006, Satterfield joined MTV Networks after his tenure at G4 Television (2003-2006) as editorial director and, before that, worked at TechTV (2001-2003), where he held the same post. He was one of the co-creators of X-Play and scheduled and produced 140 episodes a year as well as landmark live programming for the network. Prior to that, Satterfield held various posts at GameSpot (1999-2001) and published his own gaming Web site, Street-Level Gaming from 1996-1999.
