January 02, 2004 - Hootie frontman Darius Rucker is back with the band after some soulful side projects and the results are rock solid. This cover version of David Gates' hit "Goodbye Girl" (the title tune for the 1977 Neil Simon flick starring Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason) is tied to a TNT remake (starring Jeff Daniels and Patricia Heaton). Hmmm, the song still sounds like a hit anyway.
