I think that he testing in this show is only partially accurate. The style of an warrior is not something you can input into a computer. The tests are for the most part terribly in accurate, in the fact that the people doing them are not as skilled as the real warriors, a good exaple of ths are the "Viking" testers, neither of them were large enough or strong enough to be concidered a "Viking".
Another thing that bugs me is that similar weapons are not compared to each other nor are they used in the same test as the other, good example of this is the Russian Special Opps vs. American Special Opps grenades.
I hope that in the future they either show better exaples of the tests they do, or start doing better tests.4 replies Reply Flag comment as inappropriate

Well, after reading some of these questions and answers I believe the experts they choose are based on a a who knows what basis and yes I agree there not the most efficient warrior portraiture's. But if you think you know more let someone know! I would like to see a fight between Frank W. Dux vs. Chuck Norris even though they are in the same time line.

Let's see some more individual historic persons duke it out! People love to see a fight, but people love to see individual people (rather than just soldier #1, soldier #2 etc, etc) fight to the death even more so.
I'd actually think it would be awesome to see Julius Caesar in his prime fight Hannibal or Alexander the great.
The only problem I can see myself (and others) having with individual people with there own identities is that The weapons can be more scientifically tested perhaps, but how can you test different long dead people's fighting styles, experience and speculation on physical stature and ability...

I would like to see the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club (or other outlaw biker) go against a street gang like the Bloods or Crips etc. After all there was already a gang episode. (Mafia vs Yakuza)

I would like to see them do some "Rematches" with some of the more controversial fights. The rematches however would use different weapons.
Of course they are going to be besieged by Ninja Vs Pirate requests, but there are a few others I would like to see...

Love the show, seeing the weapons evaluated is really cool, but lets face it, the computer simulation is a joke. This "simulator" is actually a video game that is being "tweaked" to measure combat in ways that have nothing to do with real fighting. They should just throw out the fake computer part and make their own arbitrary choice of who is deadliest... I think thats what they're doing anyway.

I'm curious whether future seasons will also pit famous individual warriors (ie. Shaka vs Wallace) against each other. suggestions should be endless. how bout Achilles vs. Geronimo (or any one of several great Native American warriors)? Alexander the Great vs. Genghis Khan? Sun Tzu vs. Hannibal? Attila the Hun vs. ???? How bout a female deadliest warrior: Joan of Arc vs. ???? Even more modern matchups like Vietnam Marine sniper Carlos Hathcock vs. WW2 Russian sniper Vasily Zaytsev would be interesting. i loved the first season and i hope the producers and creators are reading these comments and continue to value the feedback

i dont know why everyone is so crazy about pirates! think about it! u all are just influenced by hollywood. pirates have been glorified and glamorized by hollywood! most pirates were in poor health and poorly trained, if trained at all. they fought against other pirates or innocent merchants; not highly trained, highly motivated warriors! their biggest asset would be their brutal and criminal mindset, although no one can say their weaponry and tactics weren't effective. its just that i think the pirate is highly overrated. there. is anyone with me on this?
