I THINK RASHADS TEAM TRAINING AND BONDING AS A TEAM FAR SURPASSES RAMPAGES COACHING,BUT ANYWAY I THINK BOTH FIGHTERS WERE VERY DISAPOINTING TO WATCH,THEY CAN ALL SAY ROY WAS BAD,BUT I THOUGHT KIMBO WAS BAD TOO HE COULD HAVE TRIED TO BUCK ROY OFF HIM OR ROLLED TO GIVE UP HIS BACK HE MIGHT HAVE BEEN CHOCKED BUT AT LEAST HE WOULD HAVE MADE AN EFFORT.

Regardless of who won, I think the favoritism is way too obvious. This is one of the last true sports left. Some one tell Dana White not to fuck this up. Please don't become David Stern. Please keep Vince McMahon off your speed dial.

It wasn't a great fight for either guy, but it was a fair fight and Big Country won. I would have liked to see the fight live up to the hype but it doesn't always work out that way. Credit should be given to Roy though. He took Kimbo down and nullified his tools. Watching the show, I already

this season of tuf has the weakest fighters the UFC should be for the best of the best and most of the heavyweights cant even handle training for an hour. i dont care how tall or how big they are. i care about what they bring to a fight. but for real what is the big deal about kimbo? he isnt that good all of his fights on the internet were never even close to the pro level!! plus there was no take downs allowed and 30 sec count outs. its because thats the only way he could win. and i knew he would lose because these are real fighter not ghetto crack heads and gangsters. im from the " hood" and he dosnt impress me at all he has no base all upper body and as you can see even a fat guy that eats whoppers all day can kick his ass if he knows take downs. you know what that tells me? it tells get off his nuts a loss is a loss. every time kimbo fights some one that haswell rounded skills he get F**ked up why do you guys love him so much? hes humble because all of you put him on the map do you guys realy think he was like that befor he blew up ? come on

I don't understand how Big Country thought he actually won the fight. It wasn't a Sumo Wrestling match. Roy didn't even land one devastating punch on Kimbo. My question is...Roy, do you honestly think that you won that fight? MMA is all about technique, striking, and octagon control. You on the other hand fell down on Kimbo and pinned him for a count of three.

If you've see Kimbo's street fights, the guy can box. He wasn't in his "killer" mindset that he is in when fighting on the streets. He wasn't aggressive at all. He wasn't bobbing and weeving and boxing like he knows how. He's not used to people telling him what to do. He's thinking to much and not using his instincts!

Kimbo got another FAN even though he loss. I'd be more than happy to see him fight in the UFC. Kimbo will show up to fight everytime and thats what makes fights. Does Kimbo feel like TUF 10 is a replay of Elite? They should take the camera off the guy and let him train like everybody else. And for Nelson, the only place you'll have it your way is at Burger King; and learn how to fight.

Everyone knows that fight would have been stopped and that regardless of Roy's comments by the pool about being able to defend yourself. I'm left to wonder now if the fights are stopped earlier for some fighters because they lack the "drawing power" of their opponents? I enjoyed the Anti-Brock statement where he endorsed Burger King. I think he can have an appeal like a George Foreman had in his later years.
My question to the TUF cast is... How has your opinion of the UFC changed since being on the ultimate fighter and are you still fighting professionally as a mixed martial artist?

I think this was the worst fight dana white could of aired on national tv. He should of let Steve Masaghati ref this fight. Dean wouldnt put them on there feet even when nelson wasnt punching. He was just layying there squeezing kimbo's wrists so he woudnt get beat in the face. Kimbo did amazing on defending the take down and defending the clinch. i think the only way he could of done better was if he would of won.
He punched effectively and had a nice leg kick in the 1st round. If kimbo could of stayed on his feet the fight woulda been over in the first round easily. GIVE HIM SOME RECOGNITION

"Big Belly" even bragged about getting a win by exploiting the rules. That is not an honorable fighter. It's like a rapist getting off on a technicality. He is lazy, but he does have skills. One of which, is, skirting the system.
Kimbo is a fighter. But he is not well rounded. This show will be great for him, getting him trained in areas he is weak, like the ground game. Kimbo is an honorable fighter. He was beat, even if Roy was pussy punching him, he understands what it means to be beat by a "technically" knocked out.
Kudos to Kimbo for being humbled and hungry even after a defeat.
Roy "Big as a Country" Nelson, you're a bitch fighter. You can scratch an eye, kick the nuts, and bend rules all day long. But, one day, someone will get tired of it, and beat you at your own game. (Brock?)
Herb Dean, did follow the rules. Don't fault him.
Dana, you are awesome for giving people this chance to get in the UFC. But for the love of pete, institute a pussy punch rule. If you aren't making any progressive contact, stand them up. A win by a technicality is not a worthy win.
But, in the end, we all keep watching it, regardless of the bad fights. So keep supporting the show. Just don't support the bitch fighters.

Slice just looked like he had too much going on in his head. normally he would losen up and bang with anyone he has ever fought. It seem liked he was thinking too much. As for nelson. I dont think my opinion is soley my own when I say that was one of the worst fights I have ever seen. Ref stoppage due to pillow punches on a guy who couldnt move. You have the gaul to brag about your win afterwards like it was anything remotley special? What a joke. Should I even bother to continue watching this series? This season is probably the worst out of them all so far.

imbo you have to use your God Given Abilities. First when facing the blob, knock him off his center of gravity. That is from peekaboo stance lunge into his chest/heart area with both fists while driving with your feet. Next find your center of gravity and stay there. Do not dance around.Hit him in the solar plexus on up to the neck forget the head until U R READY TO KO. Drive with both fists into this area to knock him off balance. When you are dancing around your center is adrift. Do not dance too much. Avoid by deflecting like a running back. Use offensive line moves and running back moves. Be a Lion and outmaneuver larger bulk prey. Be patient and GO FOR THE KILL.. REMEMBER Even the King of Beast is overwhelmed when he is out of position. That Kimbo Slice fight was the worst fight ever. If that's what we have to look forward to from "Big Country" then its gonna be a long boring series. When 260 lbs. (at weigh in. Probably 270 by the time the fight comes around) of fat guy takes you down and puts his weight on a 240 lbs. guy then the won't be able to move. He knows how to put his weight on a guy and keep him under him but he spent the time tapping Kimbo on the top of his head. It was ridiculous. It wasn't even a fight, just a fat guy lying on a skinny guy tapping his head until the ref stopped it. The only reason that the ref stopped the fight was that Kimbo couldn't move. It had nothing to do with the fact that Roy was hitting him. The worst fight from the UFC in a long time and with the hype built up around that fight they are lucky it wasn't pay per view. I'm pissed and it was free. If I had paid for that it would have been my last purchase I can tell you that.

I agree with the comments about Roy v. Kimbo. Coming from IFL, I expected Roy to be tough to deal with.
Like everyone else, I was disappointed in Roy's plans to crucifix and rely on ref stoppage/TKO for shots that were not fight-stop worthy, but rather a simple exploit of fight-rules. All due respect to Roy as he did get the "W" and advance to the next round, however, Roy didn't prove he is the ultimate fighter today.
Despite the loss, you have to love Kimbo. That guy is really something special and given the right ground-game training he could become a force in the UFC. Certainly he has the kind of personality we all hope to see prosper.
"Good on ya" Dana for bringing Kimbo to the big show and giving the world an inside look at Kimbo.

As a fan of UFC since the very beginning, way back to '93. I've seen all kinds of fights, end in all kind of ways. As such, I'd like to hear Amir and company address Wes Shivers v. James McSweeney and the decision.
From what I saw, Wes had more take downs, displayed equal or greater aggression than James and demonstrated equal or better octagonal control. Additionally, Wes had two submission attempts. Also, he had two separate submission attempts. Also, McSweeney turned his back a couple of times escape/run away from Wes' attacks. All due respect to James, and props to all the fighters for doing what they do, but I'd like to hear how Dana, the Furtita's and others scored that fight. Did I really miss seeing something? Did James really when that fight? Little help please.
thanks much,

We all know Kimbo has bad ground game. And he faced the Burger King, with his extra gut weight. Of course he has good ground game, it's a miracle he can even stand up.
The few punches that kimbo landed visibly unnerved burger, and he immediately gave up trying to stand with kimbo. He's like chuck lidell, if you take all of chuck's takedown and put it into even more arm strength. Fear kimbo once he learns to defend against shooters.
Rofl@Dana's fight summary. "It was like your daughter had pinned you and was punching you out".

Roy, what's with the ego? You acted like your performance was certainly nothing to brag about. Why not focus less on acting like a big shot, and start training like one? On a lighter note, were you surprised by Kimbo's ability to avoid several of your takedown attempts?

I never thought much of Kimbo b4, but now I actually respect the guy. Nelson didn't come to fight, he came to just win which in my perspective makes him a bit**. What you think about that? When I step in the ring, I go to fight and nothing else. I feel a lot of the guys just want the spot light and don't really care about fighting. Most of them have something to run back to if they lose, so they don't put their body or looks on the line bc they gotta look good for their girl back at home. I'm deff not a hater, but we got bring the 170 and 155 weight class back. Those weight classes are the best and get people that wanna Fing fight. I'm not saying I'm a perfect example but the only thing paying for my stuff are the W's i get for winning fights.

I've seen roy nelson fight in the IFL and he usually puts on a good fight, tonight proves why Kimbo deserves to be in the UFC. The UFC is about putting on a great show for the fans. When roy nelson saw how he would fair against Kimbo on the feet, which to say the least was pitiful, he layed down on kimbo with his enormous bodyweight and attempted to punch Kimbo. Despite doing absolutely no damage or not advancing his position, he won. Literally, 99% of people would rather see Kimbo put on a good fight then watch someone lay down and win by an unfortunate technicality. Roy Nelson's performance tonight was PATHETIC. Kimbo deserves to fight in the UFC.
