The new format sucks, the new hosts suck, the pace of the show sucks, the choppy editing/effects suck, only one sport per episode sucks. Where is the variety, the fun? The old format was interesting to most anyone, since many sports were represented each episode. Bring back Papadakis! I signed up just to post this comment like another poster here. The format from last season was perfect, why mess with it, I was looking forward to the new season, now I'm not even going to bother. Nice job screwing up one of your decent shows, Spike.

I agree with "planking", liked it better with multiple sports being played. This one sport deal is a little boring (yawn)!

First, the new format is fabulous. It is impossible to ask people to show off what they have with a whole bunch of sports on one show. I like the one sport per show. You can get the best pros and the best Joes for that sport and have a great contest. On anothe note, Simeon Rice pile driving the Joe was a dangerous and illegal move. He should have been kicked off the show right there. He was just mad becasue he was getting his ass handed to him by a Joe who used to play college ball. Had he broke that guys neck for such an illegal move, he would have been personall sued. It should be just like the rules of football. It jsut show what a punk Rice is.

Way to go Spike for revamping the format. Great move. Now you can match up people with their sport they excel at. Last years format was bad because I know of no one who is good at every sport. It just wasn't a fair contest last year. I think we are going to see more Joes beating pros because of finding Joes who have played the game competitivley.

I think it was much, much, much, better before! The setup where they had to compete for the place on the show is better than the suits at spike picking who "they" thought was good or who they "think" we want to see. I have seen the two shows and I would say football was better than basketball. the joes are a$$ holes on the show. acting like knuckle heads. but thats what the suits at spike "think" we want to see! 3 sports, let them compete for the chance to be on the show, and the greek host, kastophilus or what ever his name was, was much, much, much, much, better! And who thought of the names for the contests? Another spike suit with no clue....

I don't mind the new format, it makes more sense to compete in the sport that you're best at. I somewhat agree with meatpole, the joes should have to earn the chance to play against the pros by competing against other joes, but they should stick to one sport. This episode was funny as hell, from the Rice pile drive that dude deserved to Tim Brown laying the wood from the saftey position. The joes are hilarious, they talk a whole lot of smack and always fall short. I wouldn't have much to say, I would let my play do the talking especially cuz these guys have been up against the best of the best, what can you say to that.
