No! Not the right player!
Gamble showed what kind of player he was in the 2-minute drill--high school!!
I see the same thing in Swan that Irving does--a certain kind of quietly composed player--not a showboat, dance-in-the-end-zone kind of player, but a hand-the-ball-to-the-ref after a touch-down player. I think he could have come back to be a great "play-maker." and hope he gets a chance somewhere.

I hope he gets a chance somewhere too he is an outstanding player and i saw his horrible injury in the game vs. Illinois Im and Illinois fan but i really think this guy is an amazing athlete as he showed in that game all the other games and on the show. Cowboys are going to be mad once they see another team pick him up and he does very well.

Swan looked good, what a shame he got hurt. I hope he continues to condition/rehab himself and gets picked up. So far I like the show, but after all is said and done I would love to see Irvin, Bates, and Avezanno help out the actual players on the team! They could DEFINATELY use the inspiration as they appear to be lacking any intensity whatsoever. If you're in doubt, just look at the Cowboys during the early 90's!! The Cowboys of today cannot hold a candle to them as far as desire and intensity is concerned.

Personally I think they should have cut Washington, he is getting man handled out there and he needs to get his weight up. He even said it himself, he thought he was going to go back to the war room. They will find out sooner or later.

This is a tuff situation, Swan is a good player and can be consistant if he's healthy. Gamble has to the health to possibly make it, he has to sure up his abilities on the field. This is a difficult situation, but as we all know the NFL is a business also, and it isn't kind to those who are injury proned. Look at Kenny Irons and Rudi Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals for example, 1 injury and your out of the NFL before your 1st or 2nd contract is up. I do believe however that Luke Swan will return maybe next season cause Micheal Irvin and Coach Joe love him, and if he can get with a good trainer to get his body in great working order he'll be back. I really hope he can cause he would be a good addition to the Cowboy roster, God Bless Luke Swan.

I posted on the sneak peek of this ep but I'll do it here too. Swan has the most "NFL-ish" skills. but they had to cut him b/c they have nothing to evaluate him on as far as the drills go. I mean can they really justify keeping him b/c he looked good on the bike while the others were busting their ass? BTW i hope they show more injuries and such b/c that means one thing: MORE HOLLIE the trainer!!!! smokin hot. I hope when the DVD comes out they have extended footage of the drills. how come they keep praising Montrell Jones' size when Jesse Holley is taller and heavier than him?

They made the right choice, if your injured you are of no use. I think Gamble is too small and not quick enough to handle NFL play. This is a great show and I wish them all the best.

Another great episode. Its about time that SWAN got his "INJURY PRONE ASS" X'ed. First of JERRY JONES isn't going to pay for another player who's greatest aspect so far, is his ability to stay hurt and "THE PLAYMAKER" said it best, "He's too much of a liability." And as for Gamble, he's great when he's with Moses but, as shown, he doesn't know when to press the WR for the early jam & most of all he GOT HIS ASS BEAT EVERYTIME THE WR SWITCHED HIS ROUT TO IN AND OUT and as for that "Harry H. S*** as Mike called it, that will always be on his highlight reel.
And Moses is too light weight to play in the NFL EAST he would be CRUNCHED and that would be on his highlight reel

I called the show boring but this was the best episode that I have seen because I used to be a defensive back in high school; it kept my interest!

Swan woulda bee good, I remember him back in college. But injuries are injuries... I think it's about time Moses went home... he doesn't have the strength to play even cornerback in the nfl.

Man! Poor Luke Swan. It looked like that was a VERY DIFFICULT decision for Irvin. It almost looked like he was going to tear up because he knew Swan was a good player. BUT>>> it is not fair to the others who were out there busting their tails to showcase their skills. Gamble was one of my favorites, but DAMN he got burnt out there. Hawkins looks like the real deal.

Gamble is a good player. he wasn't beat by the reciever he was beat by the technique he was using. I do not care who the secondary player is, he will lose everytime he does a speed turn. The speed turn does not work.Gamble was only doing what he was taught to do. Once he turns his back to the reciever any qb can pick him apart. if Gamble or all secondary players was taught better technique, their play would improve. If you guys were to watch the film again you would see what i am talking about.

It was sad to see swan go. I think that he wouold've gave hawkins a run for his money. However, that freakin growin injury kept him from giving a 110%. On the other hand Dante, should've listen and stayed more alert. Even though and i am hoiping that the right call was made, it just might be that Dante should've been let go.
Michael said on thing about Swan that was true, and tht is that Swan is becoming a liability to the team. And you've got to earn you pay in football and you can't do it from the side lines. I just wish that Sawn would've goten the chance to show his skills. However, as tough as it may have been the right call was made.

Man forget about SWAN. Champions cant tolerate injured, or injury prone, players PERIOD. They should have cut his ass last week, and kept that one other D B another week. Right now Hawkins is the front runner and then, I think, Amhad Smith. Them other boys like Gonzolez, Holley, and big 84 got skills but they are not as versatile as Hawkins. Hawkins could catch screens, return kicks, cover kicks, as well as play as a WR. He even might be able to give a good shot at playing DB. Them other boys are two one dimensional, especially 84. That man is a perfect example of raw talent that has never had to work, or learn, anything about f ball. He is a raw athlete but not much of a f ball player. Gonzolez can play but he cant play special teams or do anything besides WR. Holley is just like that as well, although he might be able to return kicks. 84 returned kicks in college but he is to dumb to play in NFL, has no work ethic, and he definitely wont tackle anybody. Its Hawkins for now. That jump ball drill was some B S too. They needed to throw the slant in to make it fair.

I felt bad for Swan, nothing like seeing a mans dreams crushed. At the same time, we do not need any injury prone men on OUR team. We had enough of that sh** last year. So anyone going to watch that show T.O. is gonna be on........NOT! Anyway Gamble you let me down. Come on man!

Guys, its gonna be like that. Its 1DB then the nest week 1WR. Its just like that. This is because they need one WR for every DB, so i dont think there can be like 5 WRs and only 3 DBs. Well. i learned a few things from this show. Moses has to get his sorry ass cut, and that HAWKINS IZZA F**KIN BEAST! LOL 2 weeks str8 hes puttin up gargantuan numbers. Then comes jesse holley, and in DBs its all Eddie moten and amad smith.

right decision by the coaches but bad timing by swann they gave him a chance by keeping him the week before, and he couldnt get himself healthy enough to go......but the show is over anyway 82 is a player, hes got the heart and he knows he smaller so he plays with a chip on his shoulder already....thats what the cowboys need is somone to keep the intensity up and not get complacent when they are leading late in the game
