If Spike has really canceled this show then they're making a big mistake. There's so many other show's they could easily afford to lose like Super Dave or MANswers. Yes I like learning about boobs and beer but i'd much rather learn how to survive a situation like this or a nuclear attack than find out if I can fart into my buddy's mouth to give him CPR (apparently you can, I guess?) Spike has a really informative and honest to god entertaining show here and hopefully they keep it up.

This is a rare gem of a show. It tells a fast paced story and engaging story, while sharing a LOT of great information. I can't say this was my favorite episode (Hijack, Home Invasion, or Mall Shooting take the top 3 slots) But tihs was definately one of the most important episodes in terms of info given. I especially like the ideas about the impromptu sick room, the pepper spray and the sandbags...in 1918 a nasty flu strain caused a lot of damage around the world. And the fact that it could happen AGAIN is as scary as it is possible. This show can and will invaribly save lives if enough people pay attention to the advice it gives.

This episode was scarier than the terrorist nuke detonation, probably because the scenario could happen and affect more people. Always good information, especially when experts share their knowledge and people who've been through the experience tell you what they did.

wat has cade said thorugh the whole episode, with a pandemic, last thing u want is 2 go outside, not 2 mention A) hospitals would be beyond max capacity, B) hospital=infected=screwed
two, some houses might have only 1 bathroom and it could contaminate the whol bathroom so when its running or not off, the virus particles can be everywhere so every person that goes 2 the bathroom is infected
this is one of the BEST SHOWS EVER!!! I get to learn and be entertain at the same time

I am a registered nurse and I love this show! Better to be paranoid and alive than blissfully ignorant and dead. This show had some really good ideas- the isolation room is a crude version of exactly what we use in the hospital. A few more things- the N95 masks only work if they are properly fitted and changed often. There should be a trashcan between the door and the plastic sheeting in the sick room so the virus on the poncho and mask never leave the room. Handwashing should take about 30 seconds, or the time it takes to sing "Happy Birthday" twice. Alcohol hand sanitizers with 62% alcohol work just as well. The H1N1 (swine flu) that is going around now likes to multiply in the back of the throat and in the nose, gargling with either salt water or Listerine and using nasal irrigation like saline spray or a NettiPot can keep the numbers of the virus down enough to help you fight it off. If you start having symptoms, call your doctor sooner rather than later and make sure to get both the seasonal and H1N1 vaccine.
