I probably learned more from this episode than any other, since it is very rare for me to be even near a boat. One thing though - I'll admit that I'm one of those people who would be wearing a life jacket the entire time on board, but shouldn't everyone have put on their life jackets the second they knew the boat was heading for a storm? It was stated that they shouldn't delay, but then they didn't put them on until they had to abandon ship and it had already long been in danger of capsizing.

A shark attack is soooo unbelievably unlikely. There are literally less deaths per year of shark attacks than there is of vending machines falling on people. Plus sharks are actually pussy's if there's a group of people they are much less likely to go near you. Also sharks aren't out to eat people lol often they take one bite then spit it out because your so nasty. Unfortunately often one bite is enough to kill you. The spots to attack on the shark were accurate though. There's so many stereotypes about sharks because of movies like Jaws it's unreal. If i could add some shark safety tips they would be: make a lot of noise like splashing and kicking because sharks have sensors in their bodies that warn them of danger, also at night keep lights on; as even if the food (actual food) is sitting there for hours they still wont touch it because it seems odd to them.
