It doesn't say what happened to the hijackers after everyone was out, even though they were restrained. Not a mention to anyone outside. Someone could have told one of the firefighters and then it would have been radioed in to the authorities to come and get those dipshits, but hey nothing is perfect and the scenario was well played out. For those asking if it was real. It was a simulation. Meaning that it was staged to look real and give tips on how to survive without it actually being real. Even the wounds and blood is also simulated, so in reality nobody actually got hurt from my understanding.

I saw the commercial and it killed me i had to watch this. I waited and anticipated it didn't let me down. I have not missed a single episode yet. I hope eack week for the rest of my life a new one comes out! :) TY spike

This show really can teach average joes how to get out of any situation alive before they end up "a Statistic". All Spike fans-- no, EVERYBODY-- needs to watch this show. To Navy SEAL Cade Courtley, thanks for not only giving us something good to watch on TV, but saving our asses.

good show i wish it will show how to survive a zombie apocalypse. i know its fiction but you never know it could happen but more like a bad disease than zombies coming from the ground. more like 28 days later or dawn of the dead zombies. or i would really like to see how to survive a nuke or flood or terrorist attacks or avalanche.

Cellphones dont work in the air.
also most aircraft have a way of contacting medical personnel on board, also may have an emergency medical kit.
most airlines have restraint kits available in the cabin.
if you have to land a plane tell the flight attendants to prepare for an emergency landing. Dont tell them what doors theyre in charge of - they will already know this based on their position!

There are not Federal Sky Marshalls on all flights, Vstepter. I doubt if most people watching would really believe that things would go that smoothly in real life. Obviously, nonmilitary and nonpolice citizens do not practice this stuff over and over. That said, a little know-how is better than none. Nonprofessionals do not practice CPR more than once a year, and are not likely to be called on to do it. But if they're certified once a year, they will likely be able to perform in an emergency, maybe not perfectly, but maybe well enough to save someone's life. Fire drills in hospitals, office buildings, etc. are not done as frequently as one might wish but without them people would not have a clue what to do. Police give personal safety/self defense classes to the public at large. Maybe you would never have to use that information, and maybe you wouldn't remember everything, but just maybe something you learned would save your life instead of just freezing. So, I don't think Spike is doing its viewers a disservice with this show. It's informative and entertaining. So far, love it.

I watched the show about the Plane situation a couple of times and just wonder how can anyone who has the military experience that the moderator is suppose to have, think that ordinary people could organize their efforts as depicted. Many of the commentors say that they love it, but I think they are comparing it to any other Drama-Driven Movie that (Maybe) Wesley Snipes or Sylvestor Stallone would have a role in. This seemed to be the scenario of the 9/11 incident when the gentleman gave the command "Let's Roll". That said, how much historical data was required to put this episode together? Maybe this should be something that the Federal SKy Marshalls should recieve. They would be able to carry out this course of action, because they would practice it time, and time, again. I think Spike TV has served the people unjustly with this kind of series. Maybe this drama should depict how flight passengers should react when the Sky Marshalls are pressed into action. I say this because the Sky Marshall Concept is the real scenario of it all. All said, I am truly happy that many are entertained by this...we all need enteratinment in our lives.

Outstanding! This show has been a log time comming. It is about time someone show us what to do about these threats rather than simply report the aftermath of them. Cade Courtley is a true american hero and I commend him for the effort to share his skills to help combat threats and dangers to our civilian population. God Bless you Cade and God Bless America!

I am a 58 year old female and was also looking forward to this show. WELL--I love it! It was more exciting than most TV dramas/suspense shows and informative, too. I agree with Rob_Grizzly that this show should be nominated for an Emmy. Very well done. Thank you!

I loved the surviving a hijacking show...WHO would have known about using a cell phone alarm clock as a distraction, and ESPECIALLY about channel 121.5 for help...or where the autopilot is...or the radio for that matter. AWESOME Show...we need more shows like this one. F_U HIJACKERS!

the show was good and all but i jave a few issues with the infromation that was given. one was the emergy feq. in no longer 121.500 for there is only two agencys that look over that channle now as of feb 28 2009.two where were the gloves for the first aid as it is now required to have them on at all times well giving aid.

To the above commenters, jrich and concerned gman, I'm pretty sure that the show was written under the impression that government agents, sky marshalls etc. weren't part of the scenario. To jrich, these are things that terrorists usually already know. They are thoroughly trained in the potential mishaps that could occur on the plane before they ever do anything. The average civilian hopping on a plane, on the other hand, is much less informed. This show evens the odds a bit. As for my personal opinion on the show, as a former Marine, I found the information to be thoroughly helpful and accurate. Haven't had a sucking chest wound treatment instruction in years.

Why doesn't the video load? It does the advert then spends its time saying "Intializing Media" and never seems to load. It does this with some Deadliest Warrior episodes.

This show is incredible!!!! After watching last night¿s episode I will always remember the emergency frequency on an aircraft is 121.5 and think twice about "sleepers" disguised in the crowds, etc. etc. Your delivery of this life saving content is flawless. Thank you so much for giving me confidence to "survive" if ever faced with a similar life threatening situation. You are truly remarkable and have already saved so many lives by educating us on your techniques. Let¿s go for Season 2!!! Cheers!

I have been eagerly waiting for this series to begin since I saw the first preview like a month ago. This show can help save yourself and the people around you when faced with a disaster scenario. I will continue to tell people how impressive this show is and how it is a must see. Looks like Spike has a hit on its hands. Truly a great show and the host is awesome.

I am a 57 year old female. I'm sure that I don't fit Spike TV's profile of viewers. But, I am smart and I do NOT want to become "a statistic." I've been anticipating this series for the past month, seeing sneak peaks on Spike and other channels. I mentioned the show coming on next to my two other female roommates and they displayed very little interest but were polite and sat down with me, for lack of anything else to do. Within THREE minutes, they were as glued to the TV as I was with this show!!!! During each commercial break, we were all expressing how impressed we were with the entire show: the knowledge, the scenario, the actors...and the lead Navy Seal. At the end of the show, both roommates emailed or texted their various friends/boyfriend, telling them about this great series and that it is a MUST watch!!!! And this comes from three women: ages 23, 28, and 57. Spike: you hit it out of the park with this show!!! We can NOT wait for the rest of the series and the accurate information to "Survive Disaster!" Thank you!!!
