These agents are paranoid maniacs who think of everyone as the enemy. Stopping and searching people who come out of the deli, come on? We have rights in this country. They will not stop until they can do whatever they want. Prohibition creates the very things it claims to be at war with. They are responsible for this mess, and as long as it goes on it will never stop. They have created anarchy. Prohibition is not only a failure it is a disaster and an atrocity with hundreds of thousands of victims. Drugs are dangerous, which is all the more reason to regulate and control them, to minimize the dangers.

I am in law enforcement and know the pressures and inherent dangers of the job. But these guys sensationalize everything. They make going to the restroom seem as if there is only a 40% survival rate. Of course I assume they do this in order to insure high ratings. I would also think a DEA agent would know a little more than the average person about weapons. On this particular episode a weapon was seized at the distribution house that was raided. After pulling the gun out of the case one of the guys sounded like a parrot ... mac10...mac10...full auto mac10. I will admit I couldn't get a good look, but it was more like a Kel-Tec or a High Point carbine, not a full auto Military Arm. Corp. model10 or 11. The show is good and the guys do an awesome and dangerous job and I respect that. I just don't want them portraying things as something they're not. People watch this show, who, out of ignorance do not know any different. They will now assume fully automatic weapons are rampant and will be in favor of weapon bans that are not needed. Well, that was my rant.... all better now :)

They were at that deli for over six hours on their stakeout. While on this stakeout, they were able to figure out that the food took about 15 minutes to prepare so people coming out carrying bags who had only been in the deli for about a minute were the people they stopped, not everyone coming out of the store (20:15). These are not "paranoid maniacs who think of everyone as the enemy," these are trained drug enforcement agents who have years of training and job experience. As someone with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice I have studied criminal law and can tell you that no one's rights were violated in this episode. You are right, drugs are dangerous, however, you can't regulate and control drugs like heroin, crack, and cocaine in any way to minimize the dangers of these drugs.

Yeah that was no MAC 10 it was a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 collapsable rifle. They should only show the true facts or this might as well be a fiction show.

Regulation is the only way to control dangerous drugs. Prohibition makes drug use more dangerous this is a fact. Heroin and cocaine have been legal and the when they ere there was less crime, less overdose, less disease spread and even less IV use. So you tell me what has changed? Alcohol during prohibition was way more dangerous then it was today. Because not knowing what one is ingesting and how much is very dangerous. Drugs are dangerous but they are made worse by prohibition. It is easier for kids to get illegal drugs then alcohol and DARE has found to be counter productive. That is because prohibition equals anarchy. The reason we have government is to protect us from anarchy not create it. People buy more then prepared food at a deli. Stopping and harassing people because they went into a deli is not okay, they had no right or reason to do that just because some idiot snitch said they sell drugs there. These people are not educated they go to a joke college. They have no understanding of drugs, if they any intelligence they wouldn't be a DEA agent. There behavior is an atrocity with hundreds of thousands of victims annually. They create the very things they claim to be at war with.

ya that is for 1000% yes i said 1000% not a mac 10, and even if it was, how in the world would they know its fully automatic without shooting it, its impossible to tell an illegally altered fully automatic weapon from a normal one. a weapon with select fire such as an mp5 on the other hand is a different story. then, if its in the guys name and registered, then it is in the guys name and registered, as far as i know it doesnt matter if he has 4000000 pounds of coke next to it, he cannot get in trouble for it. on the other hand he wont be able to ever own a gun again once he is convicted of a felony. i cant believe they would say it was a mac 10 for no reason who knows. but all in all they DO do a good job of riding the streets of illegal drugs and they are part of a valuable government agency

This is BS. Why are they harassing the these young Black Business men? Also, this is deformation of character and scanderlizing the deli's name over here say from a crack head. First of all the deli is a legitimate business as you can see because there was no kind of activity going on. The DEA knew that and that is why they were so dam mad for sitting and waiting for 6 hours because the mission that they had planned just failed. The DEA send a crack head into the deli to perform an transaction and came back with nothing. Everyone has to realize that every black person with a business does not sell drugs.

However, I'm a DA and has been one for 11 years. For those Feds to pull over that male in that white truck, that was harassment. Also, when the pulled over those guys in that Toyota Corolla and took their food and dumped out their bar-b-que ribs on the seat, that was harassment. Those Feds did not find any drugs on customers that left the deli. I will do anything to help. This has to stop and this will cause a big law suit against Spike TV.

This show is garbage it makes small things seem bigger then what they really are. I am born and raised in Englewood NJ where this episode was filmed. Infact the neiborhood that they made all the so called bust is where i am from and my kids live today. I could see there house in the back drop of the scene of the film footage. I will be the first to tell you that it is nothing dangeris about that neiborhood or the city itself. I mean this is the same city numerus superstars reside in im talking singers and rappers due to it being right across from NY city. The most u will find is a bunch of small time nickle and dime dealers maybe a few big ones. I mean the guy they caught only had $600 on him thats not enough for bail. But these cops betray every one and everything on this show to be so major give me a break! This same DEA show ran in my family members house claiming he was some big Gang leader who dealt drugs but the truth is he wasnt he's just a ordinary working man like them selves. But they filmed and betrayed him to be something he's not on national TV scaring his kids and family in the process. But they never showed the true outcome of their report on TV that they was wrong and had been given false infomation. Instead they left it as is editing the tape to fit their story line of drug dealing gang members. They also put these small time defendents they bust in danger by showing that they snitching on TV who cares they blurr their faces the people in the hood know who they are it isnt every day cameras and cops show up together in the hood to make bust so when they do it catches everyones attention. For example the girl they pulled from the truck and got her to set up the weed man those who live in Englewood gonna know the truck and who it belongs to so its not hard to figure out who the snitching passenger is Im sure they always together. The same goes for the snitching weed man everyone in the hood knows who that is. So as i said they setting people up to

Wow great, these assholes yet again found some cannabis. The only drug which in the history of man kind has never fataly harmed anyone. Hell 13 states have created legislation to allow medical marijuana to be accepted, even as therapeutic medicine. As in if you have migraines, sleep apnea, appetite problems, all the way up to if your a terminal patient with AIDs or cancer, your allowed to recieve doctors recomendation to grow or purchase medical marijuana from clinics. That's 26% of the USA that have took their blinders off, why is the rest of the nation so ignorant? On top of all that the government is now going to spend 5-10+ thousand dollars to bring him to trial, and if he's convicted, 32 thousand dollars per year to house him in federal prison. Take that 32 grand and multiply it by say 10 years, because of the weapon, and thats $320,000+$10,000 for trial and thats $330,000. Thats just one person!! There's over 250,000 marijuana arrests every year. WHAT A WASTE!!! Were talking BILLIONS wasted, when cannabis could be stimulating our economy with billions in tax revenue. Every legal ounce thats sold in legit clinics is taxed $50, thats big bucks flushed every year by the government.

I say shame on Spike for capitalizing off of these drug war cheerleaders, as they do with this reality show. Embedded journalism in any war is one-sided bias. Maybe Spike could do a reality show on the killings carried out by drug cartels in Juarez, Mexico as a result of the criminalization and simultaneous demand for marijuana in the U.S. The DEA agents on this show think they're helping communities by taking pot off the streets, but they're really making the streets more dangerous because people who want marijuana are forced to buy it in the black market from people they don't know instead of growing it themselves. Pot deals go bad and people shoot eachother, all because they have to break the law to get an herb that's caused zero deaths among its users during its entire existence. If these DEA agents wore a star for every drug war related death that they've caused, they would be so covered in stars that they wouldn't be able to move. It's time for us all to write our legislators and encourage them to disallow the federal government (DEA) from subverting state marijuana laws as they used to do in California before the Obama Administration made them stop. States need to have control over their marijuana laws, not the federal government. Federal control over laws that states create is exactly what the founding fathers of our country feared the most when they drafted our constitution. Support the Marijuana Policy Project or the National Organization for Marijuana Laws and get these uneducated fascists in the DEA looking for a new job, just as they do to pot dealers on a daily basis.

First of all, to sell drugs you don't need an iligitimate business to sell them, in fact, most drugs are sold in ligitimate places. The point that they are trying to show is that you can find drugs everywhere regardless of race, age or sex.

Most missions are setup based on the snicthes' information which most of them are "crack heads".

To Bman 123, all I can say is that at least they did go to college and got their proper education and most of the dynamics of drug trafficking are learned from experience in dealing with it not only by the reading books. Obviously these men and women do know about drugs. Judging by the your opinion I can tell you are on drugs. You said that they don't have a clue about drugs which leads to think that you are involved in drugs in one way or another. No offense but that is what you are implying. You said that their behavior causes thousands of people to suffer anually...how many people die from drug overdose, or people killing others to take over a spot to sell etc? more right?... The only way to finish the drug problem is to stop the demand for drugs..which is impossible. The war on drugs is never going to end.

I watch all the time. THink they do a bang up job and it is very dangerous. Finally a group out in the open playing at the level of the streets.

NOt hiding and or looking stupid when they have all the wrong intel. Or goofin the pickup and starting a uncontrolled high speed chase. THey never well rarely put innocent people in harms way. I do have one issue. On an episode they said if someone is carring a gun they figure they will use it. Maybe I took it out of context but I carry a gun and have never used it. IT is my right and think if a pack of ferral dogs or gang bangers attack me and or my family I cannot wait for 911 to show up in 9 min. JUST saying if I can trust police with a gun , they should trust a law abiding citizen too.. Keep up the good work and stay tuff .. I love the fact that you do the homework and have intel . I always am shocked when officers put themselves in terrible situations on t.v. and are suprised when they get hurt. good job D>E>A
