  Fallout new vegas should be on this list i have God of war 3 and dont get me wrong its my favorite game but fallout 3 was epic so im expecting new vegas to be better

  Dude... the award was not for best game... it was for more anticipated.... that means.... how many people is waiting for this game.... its a matter of numbers.... not of the games quality..... SO.... A PS3 exclusive that would be expected only by PS3 owners its very unlikely to be more expected than a multiplatform game....say modern warefare..... or a big exlclusive for any of the other 2 consoles... say mass effect 2...... simply because there are twice Wii owners than there are ps3 owners... and almost 7 million more xbox owners than ps 3 owners (www.vgchatz.com).... Now if GOW3 sells more than modern warefare 2 did in the first 2 months (thats One Billion Dollars) i will shut the f**k up forever

  God of War 3 hands down! if you have played the previous GOW games than you would be saying the same thing...Xbox fans that have never played GOW, you are seriously missing out. Bioshock was actually a good game(had fun).But if the first and second GOW raped on the PS2, i cant imagine how much better it will be on the PS3... again play the first two and you WILL BE WET FOR GOW3! and all people saying "i wish they made games for both Xbox and PS3", shut up! because ps3 has blu-ray, the blu-ray disc is not just for extreme HD picture, it hold a ridiculous amount of storage, games like MGS4 and GOW3 and Uncharted 2 for example.. im not a hater on xbox at all. i more loyal to PS than Xbox. but really i have a both the 360 and the PS3 and online=play is the SAME THING...

  call of duty has best online play and a fun side thing to play with a buddy spec ops but the campaign was alright like always nothing to big but i think that the online for mw2 people will probably keep playing it for like 2-3 years just like all other call of duties =]

  GoW3 is huge and all, but is it even a game i would play twice?
  
  It's anticipation is too much as for the one-way game, especially comparing to SC2 (if it'd released in 2010) that can be played like forever, or BS2 that is the most 'combinatoric' FPS i've ever seen.

  bout xbox is better, lets get real for a sec... xbox does have a i'll even say amazing online but u pay for wat u get..
  
  on that note u pay for wat u get ps3 being more expensive juss shits on xbox, srry guys its the truth..
  
  graphics can be pushed further, internet browsing, now facebook, you can even turn it into a computer, like come on.
  
  i didnt even start about games xbox has wat halo (a dieing franchise) unless REACH comes hard, and left 4 dead...
  
  Playstation is holding down GOW, Uncharted, Killzone, Final Fantasy, Gran turismo(best driving games ever), and MGS(well mostly *MGS4 best game of all time*), nees i continue????

  i think gow3 deserved this but i just wish that the award would be a game both on ps3 and xbox 360 ( screw wii). when uncharted 2 won GOTY arward i was so pissed because i couldnt play the game of the year! so please next time pick a game that is for xbox too! i guess for now ill have to buy a ps3 to play those games.

  Gah! I'm so sick of MW2 fanboys everywhere. Most anticipated game...meaning IT HASN'T YET BEEN RELEASED. GoW deserves this, unless starcraft2 was up there, that game is something like 10 years overdue. Go get learned kids!

  GoW 3 is going to be next year's game of the year, i can see it now, and Mass Effect 2..PLEASE people anybody who likes mass effect 2 also is waiting for knights of the old republic, me for one i have been a small fan of "in a galaxy far far away", but i like more of the medieval sort of stuff, no Halo Reach is not going to win it either, and DRAGON AGE SUCKS

  Its an alright list i suppose but man harsh against the PS3 it is a pretty good system but hey im not taking sides cuz i got both and my xbox is tha Limited Edition MW2 version ha so i dont really care all together they are both great systems the list i think in some categories could have been better but still i think that GOW3 beats Bioshock only because the first two were kickass

  yo dude look at all the games that is keeping the 360 alive i can name only 5 games that originaly came out for the xbox the ps3 isnt that much of a fail system is that the developers arent making ps3 only games like final fantasy DOA street fighter and many many more games that are multi platform games and now the xbox has tales of vasperia now i kno im not an expert but didnt the 360 say it was an "american" game or it suports that kind of stuff but now there getting more and more imported games coming out for it like i said before when the 360 gets more games that are more original then i will buy a 360 other than that i will get a ps3

  WHAT?? MW2 wasn't even nominated? Fuck this shit! It was the most anticiapted game of ALL TIME!! over 10 million people preordered it, meanwhile, many other people couldnt preorder it because there werent enough copies. When the game came out, EVERYBODY was playing it to check it out BECAUSE IT WAS THE MOST ANTICPATED GAME. It's bullshit that all u PS3 bozos get any awards for ur shit games where the ps3 is a shit system. Anyone who buys a fucking PS3 over and XBox360 is oblivious to true gaming. I admit, the blu-ray is incredible, but buy a fucking blu-ray disc player so u can play games on an interesing console with a better layout, better graphics, and REAL KICKASS games insead of ur excuses for games and reakes of classics that were rightfully made for the XBox360. If it comes to the sad truth that Spike is choosing fucking PS3 games over XBox games, Spike should just go back to fucking Chinese people yelling at eachother and hittig eachother with foam sticks in a comical fashion and leave video games to Microsoft
