Glad you could post such an academic review of the film and so articulate as well lol, if your gonna
be so absolute at least try to bring your arguemment across in an articulate manner rather than just
swearing for the sake of it (does it help you get your point across? (Idont think so) are you still stuck
in the school yard? (i geuss not considering the films your whatching although i really could be
wrong anyway you get the point if your gonna post anything atleast do it in a none offence
slightly intelligent manner mattheuspalma you fuckwit llmao sorry to bring myself down to your level. xx

I cant believe that the best sci-fi film as voted for by the public (BEING YOU) was the new star trek film does it mean nothing to you people that the introduction of clever and realistic sppecial effects has nothing to do with making a great film (all the great films including the original terminator and the original alien had ground breaking special effects that were made adhoc as the films progressed, I guess though that half of you leaving comments here arent even oold enough to remember the release of those films) The idea that you are even contemplating the "NEW" Star Trek ass the best sci-fi film ever speaks volumes I cant even begin to describe my disapointment at your IGNORANCE xxx.

I new I should of voted but I was busy and I also missed the show but no matter what there are to many f-ing Trekkie's to over throw your vote they must of sat at this site tell the voting came on it, so that being said they like to fight for they genre franchise.

Naw transformers is still to everyware.. it needs a way more soild ground.. i mean the story line is thare.. but telling the story and watching what i still beleive is a horriable job at the sgi transformers.. its just everyware..

star trek was good.. fresh.. and makes u want to relive the trekie experance.. all over.. which for a movie, to have what 5 different tv shows, and atleast 5--10 movies, and recreate it, to the first moment u liked star trek..

Star Trek deserves it the most. It is the best reviewed movie so far of the year. Critics who usually down Sci-Fi movies I actually loved Star Trek, and that's saying something. It had the best plot, screenplay, cast, i mean you name it Star Trek had it. GO STAR TREK WIN!

if we are voting for most money spent on special effects while not spending money on plot or acting ability - then sure, give it to terminator or transformers, but if you mean BEST as in GOOD QUALITY...

Moon was solid and fantastic (non action sci-fi flick) 9/10

District 9 was amazing and great action... why the hell is it not on here? 9/10

Star-trek would be up there umm 8/10

A lot of these movies were good. I really liked Star Trek and Terminator Salvation. but Transformers was good too. I guess I'll just alternate my votes. . .

Terminator Salvation was such a disappointment. Didn't feel like a Terminator flick at all.
Transformers 2 is the worst movie of the year.
I'm going with Star Trek by a mile, but Moon was very good and I wish more people saw it. Props to Spike for not ignoring it.

Terminator: Salvation is the best action flick on this list! McG might not do a great storyline but he sure can handle the action!

Let's talk Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. S2 DVD/Blu-Ray is being released on 9/22. Buy S1 and S2 -- great Christmas gifts!
