Chow Yun-Fat stars in an epic new movie that comes to us straight from China called Confucius, where Yun-Fat plays the famous philosopher. Director Guy Ritchie, of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels fame, has his next project now that the Robert Downey, Jr. version of Sherlock Holmes is done: Lobo. One of the more improbable anti-heroes of the DC Comics universe, Lobo is an interstellar alien bounty hunter. This is definitely a change of genre for Ritchie.

The second Halloween 2 trailer is a lot scarier than the first, and shows a lot more potential for director Rob Zombie's film. Though there are some very bizarre aspects to the trailer, overall Michael Myers looks a lot more terrifying than he has in other incarnations.

Book of Blood, based on a Clive Barker short story, takes place in a house that acts as a kind of thoroughfare for the dead. A young man seems able to communicate with them, though at his own peril -- their pain is etched onto his skin. This is definitely a creepy little horror movie that will get under your skin. An ex-con tries to rob his employer to get enough money to settle up with his ex-wife, only to find that someone's beaten him to the punch. A very frightening man in a very frightening mask has taken the whole family hostage and set up deadly traps throughout the house. Will anyone make it out alive? The first clip we see is very promising: a man attired in a superhero outfit spreads the wings of his costume, looks down at an encouraging crowd fifty stories below, jumps, and soars through the air -- then crashes head-first into a taxi cab and dies. The audience laughs...this is going to be a cool panel.

The moderator notes that one of these filmmakers discovered Kate Winslet and the other made over a billion dollars trying to drown her. One got a realistic performance out of a CG spider, and one got a couple of realistic performances out of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Denzel Washington plays Eli in The Book of Eli, a movie that takes place in post-apocalyptic America. The country is a wasteland of ruins and everyone wants the one thing Eli won't give up: the book that holds the only hope of mankind's redemption. Denzel knows how to play a grizzled badass, and the action and effects look pretty great. Oh -- and Mila Kunis is in this. Need any more reasons to check out the trailer? See it after the jump.

The first teaser trailer for Ninja Assassin is out and yes, it is as awesome as you are expecting it to be. Director James McTeigue, the first assistant director on the Matrix films, has put together a movie that's fast, hard-hitting and just all around badass. It looks the the fight sequences in this movie will be incredible, and it actually has a bit of a plot too. So stop reading this and hit the jump to watch the trailer.

At this year's Comic-Con, an extended red band trailer of Legion screened and it was pretty incredible. Now it's here, and it's one of the craziest trailers you'll see this month. Paul Bettany stars as the angel Michael, sent to earth to protect an unborn child who's the last hope of humanity. There are so many movies coming out that are post-apocalyptic, but here's one with the balls to show us the actual apocalypse itself. Prepare yourself for over five minutes of terrifying action. Taylor Lautner, the actor who plays Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga, discusses his character in this trailer for New Moon. Jacob is definitely a lot different than he was in the first Twilight film, if only in the degree of muscle and weight he's packed on for the role. It seems vampires and wolf men are all the rage these days, as we've got another film in this horror/thriller genre: The Wolfman. It should be noted, however, that this one sports a particularly impressive cast. Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, and Emily Blunt grace the screen, to name just a few. Del Toro plays Lawrence Talbot, a man who returns home to his estranged father (Hopkins) to look into the grisly murder of his brother, only to get bitten himself. We finally have a full length Astro Boy trailer, and this one gives us a much broader look at the story and includes more humor. The movie appears to be targeted at kids as much as anyone, though animation buffs should have a lot to like, too.
