Director Robby Henson's new horror film, House, doesn't give us anything new with this movie. A bunch of people get trapped in an evil house in Alabama (abandoned houses in the south are always strangely evil in the movies) and are subjected to the whims of a killer dressed exactly like Jason. And ghosts. And freaky kids. Sigh... Watch the trailer after the jump.

A new film starring Odette Yustman and Gary Oldman, The Unborn, borrows from just about every major horror film: Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Grudge, Rosemary's Baby -- you name it, this film has taken from it. Which isn't to say it's not going to be scary; take a look at the trailer after the jump and prepare to be creeped out.

Mark Wahlberg's new movie, Max Payne, is based on the video game. In it a detective scours the underworld for answers to the murder of his family. Elizabeth Banks apparently did so swimmingly well in the recent horror film Mirrors that they've brought her back for another, The Uninvited. The copious scenes of sexy ladies in bikinis is definitely a plus, even if this looks less scary than predictable. Check it out after the jump.

Yeah, I know, Megatron died in the first Transformers movie. But that doesn't mean he's not coming back for the second. I'm not sure exactly who Shia LaBeouf and Optimus Prime would do battle with if Megatron wasn't up to his usual mischief. Well, in the event that some of you thought Megatron was a little too soft and cuddly in the first movie, you'll be happy to see that he's going to be appropriately lethal and frightening in the next. Hit the jump to see some photos posted by our friends at Latino Review of the new-and-improved Megatron.

Swedish scientists fired the worlds first large hadron collider for the very first time today, and everything went just peachy. People that don't know how to make the science were scared this was going to blow the universe up. Cool though that may have been, they misunderstood what was more likely to happen: creation of The God Particle (and a lot of nerdy, jumping, bespectacled high fives). continue to full article »
