Director Kenneth Branagh has put together a pretty impressive cast for his movie adaptation of Thor, and now he's adding one more impressive actor. Idris Elba -- Stringer Bell from The Wire -- is joining the film, and he's got an awesome part to play.

The trailer for Kick-Ass is here and it. Is. Awesome. When high school student and comic book lover Dave Lizewski decides that he's going to become a superhero (despite the fact that he has no superpowers), he hooks up with a group of equally insane, if better trained, vigilantes. This could be one of the best comic book movies and comedies to come out next year.

Gamers who've loyally played the table top fantasy game Warhammer 40,000 will be glad to know that the live action/CG movie is well on its way. A new trailer is out for Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, and in this one we get to see a lot more than we have in any of the past trailers. Percy discovers his new powers as a demi-god son of Poseidon -- and he gets some pretty cool weapons, too. This is going to be a franchise in the same vein as the Harry Potter movies, so if you like those you'll probably like this too.
