Women can kick ass in many different ways. They can do it literally by stepping into the ring or onto the court, figuratively by making the most out of their opportunities, or in fantasy land through film or music. Regardless of how they got there, the following women have all found a way to do it, and how can you help but not be turned on by it?

Karen Lee Orzolek, better known as Karen O, is the whack-tacular vocalist for New York art punk band, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Even though Karen is a total NYC rich kid, she has punk rock flowing through her veins. Not only are her vocals powerful and unique, she has amazing stage presence. Karen is notorious for her outrageous antics during live shows, which included spitting water, beer, or sometimes grapes into the crowd, and often simulating sexual acts with the stage monitors or her microphone. Lucky microphone. She won Spin Magazine's Sex Goddess Award in both 2004 and 2005, while her band continues to create amazing rock records. She’s one of a kind in many ways, and definitely kicks ass.

Megan Fox is arguably the hottest woman on the planet right now, she so hot she could kick a dude’s ass just by looking at him. The 23-year-old oozes sexuality and has the ultimate bad girl vibe. This has led many to compare her to Angelina Jolie, something Fox disdains. Like Jolie, the Transformers star is a huge fan of tattoos and currently has eight, including one of Marilyn Monroe and a quote from Shakespeare’s King Lear. Fox says, "Every time I get a tattoo, it's a little 'f*** you' to anyone who tells me not to." She reportedly plans on eventually getting a full sleeve, and that definitely kicks ass.

Meghan McCain is the McCain the country really loves, despite the fact that her pops didn’t make the cut for the Oval Office. She is officially a Republican, but she doesn’t walk or talk like one. She busts the GOP’s balls on a regular basis and has become a bete noire of bile-spewing pundits like Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham. In short, Meghan is the prototype of the modern Republican – i.e., the “cool” Republican. She’s pro-gay marriage and in general socially liberal. She is to the Republican party what pop tarts are to toasters, and she’s raising hell every step of the way. Move over Karl Rove, there’s a new rabble rouser in town.
7. Sienna Miller

British actress Sienna Miller may be best known for playing dainty roles in period pieces and romantic comedies, but all that’s about to change thanks to her role in G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra. The 27-year-old actress went through a dramatic transformation for the part, hitting the gym for four months, and gaining five pounds of badass muscle in the process. Women with British accents already make us weak in the knees, and after we watch her girl-on-girl scrap with Rachel Nicols we’ll be signed, sealed, and delivered.
6. Ashley Force

Nothing says badass like racing an 8000 horsepower funny car for a living. As the daughter of drag racing icon John Force, Ashley has big shoes to fill in the racing world. She’s delivering with a huge win at this year’s NHRA Spring Nationals, blasting through the quarter mile at an astounding 310 miles per hour—beating her former instructor in the process. We haven’t even mentioned that she’s smoking hot. It takes some serious cajones to rip a funny car down a drag strip. This girl doesn’t just kick ass, she kicks asphalt.
