Former Miss California Carrie Prejean has dropped her lawsuit against the Miss California USA Pageant organization. Now the speculation has begun as to whether or not a sex tape may have been involved.
Carrie Prejean has been in a long running feud with the Miss California USA pageant organization since she was stripped of her title in June. The drama began after the 22-year-old gave a controversial response to a question about same-sex marriage during the 2009 Miss USA pageant. The organization tried to make Prejean apologize, but she refused. Soon after inappropriate nude photos of the beauty queen hit the web, Prejean apparently failed to live up to her responsibilities as Miss California and was dumped.
In August Prejean sued the pageant organization claiming libel and religious discrimination because of her views on same-sex marriage. The organization counter sued, reportedly wanting to be reimbursed for the boob job they paid for Miss Prejean to undergo.
The former beauty queen was apparently demanding more than $1 million dollars from the Miss Cailfornia USA Pageant. However this was quickly abandoned once the Pageant lawyers showed Prejean they had a copy of her sex tape.
According to TMZ:
The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career.
It reportedly took Prejean less than 15 seconds to settle and she walked away with nothing, though the Pageant will settle her legal bills. An official statement released made no mention of the XXX video tape. It simply read, “Carrie Prejean, Keith Lewis, and K2 productions have dropped their claim against each other and wish each other the best in their future endeavors.” Will the saga of Miss Prejean ever end? Will we ever get to see the tape in question? Here’s hoping we do.
