Monster Blog: The Gloves Are Off

Hello everyone. Thanks for checking back in to see how things have been for the Monster over the last week.  I'd like to sit here and tell you all is well and I'm doing great. But, for those of you that saw iMPACT last week, you know that this is not the case.  I think I am losing my mind quite honestly and I am afraid of what I am going to do... do to you, Dr. Stevie. Enough is enough and I have had enough. Last week on iMPACT, you have no idea how lucky you were that I couldn't find you. I searched for two hours trying to find you. I searched the entire Universal Studios area but to no avail. As a matter of fact, I'd like to take this time to apologize to Jay Lethal and Creed for beating them up on iMPACT; wrong place, wrong time, guys. I just wanted Stevie and nothing else mattered at that time, or this time.  I underestimated you though, as I never realized exactly what you are capable of. Kidnapping Lauren made me realize that all the so-called "gloves" are off now.  When I saw her on that large screen with you tormenting her, it made me madder and more upset than anything since my father's abuse of my mother and me. I haven't had that feeling in quite some time. You screwed up, Dr. Stevie because all you did was make me regress back to those days. And in those days, I beat people up, hurt people, and inflicted as much pain and suffering as humanly possible.  And those days are about to be back again.  When I get my hands on you, I am not going to beat you. I am going to maim you, hurt you, and destroy you.  The clock is ticking to Victory Road. Victory Road spells the end of the road for you my friend.  I smile just thinking about it.

Ya know they always say that celebrities "die in threes"?  Well if that's true than this past week or so whoever "they" is must be catching up.  Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Steve McNair, famous pitchman Billy Mays, and Ed McMahon all have passed away so recently.  I can't recall a time in my life where more celebrities have passed away in such a close timeframe.

I think Steve McNair's untimely passing was the most shocking to me, personally.  I have spent a lot of time in Nashville over the past 10 years and have a lot of friends there, not to mention that TNA Headquarters is located there as well.  McNair was Nashville's favorite son and a bright beacon in the community.  He was beloved in Nashville not just for football but for his personal and off-the-field contributions to the Nashville community.  Although the circumstances of his death are somewhat murky and confusing, I think all should remember him for the great he did on and off the field and remember that even the strongest of men can make mistakes. God bless him and his family.
