Denise Richards’ Bikini Body

For the past week, or so, Denise Richards has been vacationing in Maui. Every day she hits the beach with her children in a bikini. The problem is she never takes off her short shorts. That is until today. Ms. Richards removed those pesky panties and hit the water in all her bikini glory. Hallelujah. This momma is a total MILF! [The Superficial]

Getting Married Makes You Fat

A new study shows that marriage or being in a committed relationship makes you pile on the pounds. The researchers tracked the weight change of 6,949 individuals who are in relationships over several years. They found that “married people [are] more likely to become obese than those who are just dating.” They also discovered that “the longer [a woman] lived with a romantic partner, the more likely she was to keep putting on weight," while weight gain in men only spiked in the first and second year of a relationship. Karl Malden Dies

Legendary actor Karl Malden has died today at age 97. He acted in huge movies like On the Waterfront with Marlon Brando, Patton, and A Streetcar Named Desire, to name just a few. He also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1951 for his work in Streetcar. The man was a legend and he adds to the recent tragedy of the loss of so many famous men and women in the past week. He will be missed. [Collider]

Amy Winehouse to Design Her Own Line of Greeting Cards

Amy Winehouse and a team of publishers have come up with a new range of greeting cards and wrapping paper using her lyrics. Wino has signed a deal to exploit her soul-baring songs while she lives it up in St Lucia, knocking back rum cocktails and avoiding work on her new album. "Rehab" wrapping paper will roll out first, followed by "Back To Black" and "You Know I’m No Good" greetings cards. A source said: “The bosses at EMI are keen to keep the cash cow churning out the readies.” They went on to say that “the first item in the Winehouse range will be wrapping paper with the chorus of 'Rehab' emblazoned all over it.” Next thing you know they’re gonna put out bubblegum shaped like her big ass teeth. Wait a second... [The Sun]

Chris Brown Denies Being Dropped From BET Awards

Chris Brown has denied that he was due to perform at the BET Awards on Sunday amid rumors he was dumped from the bill over his recent assault case. Brown was reportedly due to take the stage at the BET Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, which fell just a week after Brown's controversial court appearance. But his performance was rumored to have been scrapped because of his recent legal troubles, at the insistence of Rihanna's musical mentor Jay-Z. A source told the New York Daily News, "Jay is a big name in the BET community, and he was very vocal about his displeasure with Chris attending the ceremony. He didn't want Chris anywhere near the awards so close to the court's ruling.” But a spokesman for Brown has denied he was ever booked to play at the glitzy show. [Star Pulse]

USB 3.0 Devices to Start Shipping by the End of 2009

According to Nikkei we'll be reaping the benefits of USB 3.0 soon - before 2010, in fact. Predictions from the PC industry indicate the first machines to include the hardware will start rolling off the line by the end of the year, citing rapid development in integrated circuits and the shipment of compliant controllers to PC manufacturers. The date is a bit earlier than the "early 2010" prediction that's been bandied around recently, and in line with initial predictions of a 2009 release. USB 3.0 promises data transfer speeds more than 10 times faster than the current USB 2.0 standard, and also promises more electrical current to charge devices quicker. [Techon]
