Rihanna and Pasties Celebrate 4th of July

Embattled pop star Rihanna hit Las Vegas over the long July 4th weekend. How did the R&B pop star celebrate America’s day of Independence? She donned a pair of silver, star-shaped pasties on her nipples, left her bra at home, threw on a jacket and hit the clubs. Coupled with a pair of skin tight silver pants, the "Umbrella" singer was all set to party the night away with buddies Jamie Foxx and Jay-Z. [NY Daily News]

Sex Screams Results in Assault Charges

A Connecticut man in the heat of passion received a severe bashing by a group of teenagers. Roger Swantson, age 25, was having sex with Melanie Arnold, age 34, when her teenage daughter came home, heard her mother screaming and thought she was being attacked. The 16 year-old rounded up some friends who grabbed baseball bats and proceeded to “save” Ms. Arnold. Swanston told The Post, "We were in the middle of having sex, and there was a knocking on the door. I was slapping her ass, and they mistaked (sic) it for me beating on her." Swanston tried to defend himself but was overpowered, suffering a black eye and bruising. The four teenagers involved were charged with assault and conspiracy. [NY Post]

Indiana Jones 5 Coming in 2011

It is being reported that a 5th Indiana Jones film is in the pipeline. Harrison Ford is set to resume his role as the fedora-wearing, adventure junkie archeologist. Shia LeBoeuf and producer Frank Marshall have both recently confirmed that the film is in the works. According to sources, "...filming will not start until next year, and it will not be released before 2011." By the time shooting begins Ford will be 70, which will make him one old Indy. John Woo to Direct War Epic About The Flying Tigers

A press conference was recently held in China to announce the production of John Woo’s next film, claimed to be the most expensive Chinese production ever. The Flying Tigers, also known as The 1st American Volunteer Group, flew missions against the Japanese in World War 2. They apparently destroyed 300 enemy aircraft while suffering only 14 casualties, for which they were paid a bonus. Mercenaries much? Woo’s flick, currently titled Flying Tiger Heroes, will present viewers with the real history of the volunteer group. The film will feature a mix of American and Chinese movie stars. [MTV]

The public memorial service for Michael Jackson at the Staples Center in Los Angeles tomorrow will feature some of the late singer's closest collaborators, friends, and fans paying tribute to the King of Pop. Among the stars expected to appear are Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Usher, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, and Motown founder Berry Gordy, according to a statement from a spokesperson for the Jackson family. The list does not specify which of the attendees will perform, but Mariah Carey is reportedly slated to reprise her famous cover of the Jackson song "I'll Be There." [TMZ]

Kelly Osbourne Kinda Hates Lady Gaga

Ozzy’s little girl Kelly Osbourne has launched a verbal attack on Lady Gaga, insisting the pop star "has everything" but a pretty face. Osbourne admitted that Gaga was talented, but also said she thought her face was like a bucket of Land O'Lakes. She rants, "She's a Butter Face - she has everything 'but her face' (is unattractive). She reminds me of Peaches Geldof." "I love Lady GaGa's tracks but I just wish she'd keep her mouth shut. She talks way too much and has too much attitude. It's starting to make me go off her." Celebrity-Shielding Flashgun Handbag Defeats Paparazzi

If you don’t want to be up to your knees in legal fees after knocking out a pesky paparazzi, you’re in luck. Adam Harvey’s Anti-Paparazzi Clutch Bag is an extra-bright LED light with a light detector. When it sees the flashgun pop on a photographer’s camera, it fires a burst of light right back in the pap’s face and lens, flaring out the picture and making it nearly impossible to see the person’s face. Lindsay Lohan needs to purchase one of these right away… [AH Projects]

Well, based on the trend in the series, the 5th Indiana Jones movie should be good. The Lost Ark was awesome, Temple of Doom was cheesy. Holy Grail was great but Crystal Skull was also kinda cheesy. It seems every other film is good. We can only hope.
