First there was the unplanned 150 foot swan dive of Bond's Aston Martin DBS into Italy's Lake Garda, while the car was being delievered to the set during a heavy storm. Then, there was video of the aftermath, also provided below. It is not for the automotive faint of heart.
Now there's been another mishap, this time involving a stunt car chasing Bond's (new) DBS around Lake Garda. Jalopnik reports:
"the accident happened when the car used by two stuntmen rammed into a filming lorry and then into a wall on set near the picturesque Lake Garda in northern Italy..."
"...one of the two men, a Greek national, ended up in intensive care in a hospital in the nearby town of Verona."
Fortunately for the crew, it was last day of filiming at the Lake Garda location - not a moment too soon, apparently.
