A LEGO Mindstorm NXT kit can be bought, by you, at a LEGO store. In it are a bunch of funky looking LEGOs, three motors, and four sensors (one each for touch, light, ultrasonic, and sound). So if you had all that, could you build a robot that solves Rubik’s Cubes? The answer is, "Yes, you can."
The robot was built by a guy named Hans. He bought the Lego Mindstorm kit for his daughters in 2006, but they were kids and didn’t have the robotic programming genius that their much-disappointed father did. So, he decided to build a robot himself.
And he decided to do it just like this with a Lego Mindstorm kit.
