Jessica Simpson was recently at a loss for words again onstage in California on Friday night when she forgot the lyrics to her song “Remember That.” That's really ironic. You would think if you got paid millions of dollars to sing you could at least remember the words.
Jessica blew the words for “9 to 5” during her Dolly Parton tribute song at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. back in 2006 and then twice this year forgot the words to the same song she screwed up on Friday.
Ms. Simpson tried to blow off the brain fart with a little bimbo comedy, telling the west coast audience, "I always forget this," adding that "I didn't write it." The singer then joked, "It just comes with the whole Jessica Simpson thing."
When Jessica messed up the same song at a concert back in March, she told fans, "I'm so embarrassed! I'm starting over again because I really want you guys to hear the lyrics the right way."
This is why I hate pop music.
