Edmunds Beats on Hennessey's 1000hp Twin Turbo Ford GT

You may remember this clip from last week of a twin turbo'd Ford GT. Well this week, Edmunds Inside Line got a chance to put that Ford, dubbed the GT1000, through its paces at the track. When ensued was basically a celebration of horsepower.

Now, I'm all for massive amounts of horsepower and V8s that sound like a cross between the sun exploding and the jaws of hell consuming the earth - but look at that quarter mile run. I mean, the thing is still laying down tread at like.. the 8th mile mark. And it's on slicks. Still, I'd drive it. Drive it silly.
