Brock Larson Vs. Jesse Sanders

Edith got stopped right in front of me during her walk around the cage. Great lasting ass shot.
Round 1:
Brock opens up with a couple short punches and goes to the clinch then scores a takedown. He goes right into side control and then takes Jesse's back. He can't sink in the choke, but Jesse is flattened out and getting pounded. The choke opens up and Brock goes for it. He sinks it in and it's over.
Tim Credeur Vs. Nick Catone

Catone walks out to The Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil. We might have a new candidate for best walkout song ever.
Round 1:
Catone scores a takedown and Credeur pulls guard. He looks for an armbar and almost locks it up, but Catone lifts hims and slams him back to the mat and frees himself. Credeur keeps working and nearly locks up a leg lock, but Catone defended nicely. They recover to the feet briefly and but they go back down and Creduer is looking for a kimura. Catone is showing some excellent defense, but this can only go n for so long. He needs to do something to change this fight, or he's in trouble. Looking for another armbar. Defended. Bell. Great round, that was an amazing display of jiu jitsu and defense.
Round 2:
So far Catone is able to keep things on the feet, which is a smart move. He's clearly winning the standup exchange and earning some much needed points from the judges. Tim scores a takedown. He goes right into mount but I'm not sure why he would even try it. Credeur pulls guard, and Catone regains the mount, breifly. Credeur looks for a leg lock, can't find it and goes straight to guillotine. It's in there... deep. Nothing Catone can do but tap.
Jorge Rivera Vs. Nissen Osterneck

Waiting for the next fight to start, my esteemed colleague just brought some authentic bb-q pork and fried chicken. I think it's safe to say, my life is changed.
Round 1:
Osterneck scores first with a takedown and right into side control. He works the ground-n-pound but Nissen recovers for a moment and lands a few blows for himself. Rivera pulls guard and starts looking for subs, but nothing there. The fight goes back to the feet and into the clinch. Nissen gets another takedown, but can't do anything with it. As the 10 second warning sounds, he backs off and lands a few legs kicks to the downed Rivera.
Round 2:
Round 2 spends most of the time in the clinch, but Osterneck scores a monster slam takesdown with about one minute left and the crowd goes nuts. They're back to the feet and back to the clinch.
Round 3:
More of the same in round three, not much to report, but some impressive dirty boxing. The crowd here seems pretty knowledgeable and are into the subtleties.
The split decision comes back in favor of Osterneck. A very emotional Jorge is trying to talk to Joe Rogan. He thanks the crowd and thanks God for helping him through a very difficult year. The crowd pays him a lot of love. Nice.
