It looks like Max Geiger’s afro was too good to let go as Spike TV announced today that Geoff, Max, and the Good Doctor are back at it for another season of Deadliest Warrior. Hit the jump for all the details.

After setting record numbers both on-air and online, it was a “no-brainer” to pick them back up for another season, said Spike TV’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming Sharon Levy. And with some of the bloodiest battles taking place in fan forums online, Spike.com will also be renewing its original web series Deadliest Warrior – The Aftermath.

The series is set to return in the Spring of 2010 with all new matchups between history’s most fearsome war mongers. So warm up your one-liners and stretch out your typing fingers, because in just a few short months history gets bloody.

Hi Deadliest warrior! May you do S.A.S (BRITISH) vs the Navy SEALs? that would be a very good ep. but we all know SAS will win + i have an idea why dont you make a tournement like one. so if the SAS wins; then they go against the spartan and then do like knock outs to the final. to show who is the best (S.A.S)

Hello Deadliest warrior team my name is Drake and im 10 years old, i love your show and im a huge fan, anyway i know you get 100's of comments saying many sugestions for matches on your show, but i also have a sugestion for deadliest warrior.I know you dont use many sugestions from comments but they dont ask poiltly like me also you probably have to get your episode aproved by Spike and every episode cost hundreds of dollars and you probably have to sighn contracts and all that legal stuff anyway before you go insane by reading my comment and by how incredibly long it is i want you to think for a while and consider my comment and i hope you dont let your #1 fan down. Can you please make a episode with famous u.s marine sergant John Basoline who fought in ww2 in Guadacanal and Iwo jima vs famous Soviet sniper sergent Vassieli zaitzev who fough in ww2 in the battle of Stalingrad . This 2 soldiers were very big killing machines .Sergant John Basoline killed like a thousand Japenese soliders in Guadcanal in only 2 days . Well vassieli killed nearly 300 Naziz with just his sniper rifle.Plus do a episode with British s.a.s army comondoes vs u.s army rangers , s.a.s vs Navy seals ,s.a.s vs delta force , Navy seals vs spetznaz , Delta force vs spetznaz and u.s Marines vs Russian Marines.

I seen documentaries on both Samurai and Spartan and in the episodes there's a lot of mistakes...
For example a Katana doesn't need to be wielded by two hands and each Samurai family had it's own style of fighting. Miyamoto Musashi used a katana and a wakizashi in both hands as style. Samurai was also trained in some kind of Jiu Jitsu or Judo in case he lost his weapon.
A Spartan was a tank, because he depended (as said in the movie 300) to the man next to him and he counted on this man to defend his weak side. Spartan shields was like a wall and the line behind the front stabbed with their spears into the attackers. They worked as a well oiled machine, but a Spartan alone isn't that effective anymore as working as a team. Spartan helms were also very heavy blocking the hearing and sight mostly (as in season 1 the Spartan blocked the attack from the back by the ninja) which is also a minus.
Second is in the movies a katana can pierce through a samurai armor, while the Spartan spear tip bends on it and the Spartan kills the Samurai by stabbing in the neck, while the Spartan has no armor there also.
My opinion is there's a lot of mistakes in the episode (for example they didn't test the Samurai bow arrow vs the bronze armor. If Samurai had such good armor back then they surely had armor penetrating arrowtips who can go straight through the bronze armor, since all Spartans died in 300 by a rain of arrows in the end).
Who will say who was the deadliest warrior back then, we will never know :)

SAMURAI vs Medieval Knight

Both using steel, one is full plated, the other one is half body plated. Both having extremely dangerous weapon. Tactics are different, and both fight to death and for what they believe is real. One for honor, the other for justice and religion, crushing the non-believer.

How ridiculous is it? That the computer geek always has the right ¿GUESS¿ to who will win the contest makes it very convenient considering he loads up the data. I¿m not usually the conspiracy theory type of person but cant help but doubt some of the results

Also the fact that he can override the decision of the ED doctor and the Ex paramedic/ Martial arts expert/ collision expert is just pathetic

Why all the modern warrior stuff? I mean guns change everything. Women, and even children can pull a trigger, but they couldn't face a real warrior in physical combat. A new show entitled "Modern Warrior" should be created for this stuff.
