Australian Ford Falcon Prototypes Spotted in Detroit

Taking a page from GM's performance playbook, it appears Ford is looking to its Australian RWD platforms for development of future US offerings. This seems to add up, as rumors have already been confirmed that Ford will be using modified versions of this platform for the next Mustang, in according with its planned global platform sharing initiative to cut costs, and with the weak US dollar, the exchange rate no longer makes it profitable for Ford to carry on development across the pond.
