On To Victory Road

This week the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) are preparing for their big match at TNA PPV event Victory Road.

Chris Sabin

This Sunday night live on PPV from the IMPACT zone in Orlando, Florida will be Victory Road. Such a fitting name it is, and for the Motor City Machine Guns, possibly a sign of things to come. Myself and Alex Shelley once again are at the very edge of completing the one task that has eluded us since we became a tag team years ago. The TNA tag team championship.

We have been here before with the taste of the gold on our lips, but have never been able to cross that line into greatness. Is this finally the rise of the Machine Guns? The only thing standing in our way is Beer Money. I'm sure anyone who would be reading this right now knows how we feel about the tools that are Beer Money. And if you don't, check out the Motor City Machine Guns Public Service Announcement on Beer Money at the TNAWrestling channel on YouTube. That may help clarify.

Now don't get me wrong, Although tools, they are also one of the toughest and one of the most talented tag teams in TNA. Robert Roode and James Storm have both had a plethora of success when it comes to tag team wrestling, former tag team champions with and without each other. This pressure is nothing new to them, but it is something special for us. We want it more. And this Sunday night, whether it finally happens and we defeat Beer Money and become for the first time ever TNA tag team champions, or whether we lower our heads in defeat and eat our sorrows away at Golden Corral, my personal goal is to try and create something special for the fans with the three amazing talents that I will be sharing a ring with this Sunday night. Beer and Money vs Rock and Roll. Whose road leads to victory will be decided Sunday night, at Victory Road.
